Striding through the doors of QQS JD heads directly to the brooms. The past two years he'd been using a broom that was second hand, because he wasn't sure if he'd make the team. He was determined to find a nice broomstick this year. Wondering if there was anyone there that might be able to help him find the one that was just right for him, he looks around for a shopkeeper.

Not seeing one in the immediate vicinity, he starts looking over the brooms on display.

Maggie saw her first school-aged customer of the summer and smiled; she had always loved the school season. Not only did it do good business, but she really liked it when she could help someone with something they cared about. "Good morning," she said with a small smile as she walked over to the boy who came in. "Is there anything I can help you with this morning?"

Looking up as a shopkeeper came over. "Good morning!" he responds with a smile to match hers. Gesturing to the brooms on the display "I'm looking for a nice quick, easy to maneuver at high speeds broomstick."

Hoping that she understood what he was talking about "I was on a cleansweep, but it was old and didn't do as well the last few years. I'm hoping to make seeker again this term, and...would like a better broomstick."

As the boy spoke of the type of broom he needed, Maggie listened carefully, her brain whirring around with every new piece of information that he threw at her. Finally she said, "Yes, the Cleansweeps are good brooms, but the older ones tend to lag a bit." She peered around the shelves before her eyes found what she was looking for. "However, if it's speed and easy maneuvering you're looking for," she began before pulling down a broom and showing it to him, "I'd say the Firebolt 600 is your best bet."

Nodding as listens and agrees with her, his eyes scan the shelves as well. As she lifts down a broom, and shows it to him, he runs his hand over the handle.

Many said that wands have a certain ability to react to just the right witch or wizards touch, but he found it was also broomsticks. He felt a tingling sensation with in his finger tips, as he ran his hand over it. His eyes lighting up he nods "I'll take it." replying with a smile forming over his face.

"I'll also need a new broomstick servicing kit. My old ones, looking kind of ragged." he comments as he notices a shelf with them on it. Taking one off the shelf, he smiles at the woman.

Adam made his way into a Quidditch Shop. He looked around, and saw that many older students were gazing at broomsticks.Are they the cleaners for school, He thought madly. He saw a young teen and yanked on his arm. Being a muggle meant he had no clue what was going on. " Excuse me, What's quidditch? Why is there broomsticks here? Sorry, I'm a mu- muggle." He told the kid, extremely shyly

Turning as he felt someone yank on his arm, he looks around and sees a younger boy. "Well, hello." he replied with a smile. Chuckling he shakes his head, "Well...I definitely do not believe your a muggle if your in this shop. Muggleborn perhaps, but you would definitely be a wizard."

Sticking out his hand he reaches to shake his hand "I'm JD...JD Stevenson, and I myself am also muggleborn." he adds hoping to relax the nervous kid.

"Quidditch? Well that's a sport we play." Nodding up at the wall of broomsticks, he continues "We fly on broomsticks, and 3 players - Chasers, toss a quaffle" pointing towared the balls right at the quaffle. "and try to get it through one of three hoops to earn 10 points. A keeper, kind of like a goalie in football, guards the hoops."

Pointing at the bludgers "The bludgers are hit by the beaters with bats, to keep the other teams players from scoring. And finally..." gesturing to the smallest ball, "the snitch is caught by the seeker, giving their team 150 points."

Turning back to the boy, he smiles at him again "Any questions?" He probably had just given the boy more info then he needed, he realized, but it was too late now.

"Umm, no." Adam said slowly." You're just like me, yeah, Muggleborn...I'm Adam Burn. It's gonna be my first year here at Hogwarts, is that where you are going? I'm sorry, I'm all very new to this...When can I try out? Sounds much better than Futbol..." he said nervously.

A grin appeared on Maggie's lips when he said he'd take it; she loved making people happy. "Excellent," she said, re-displaying the broom and taking a boxed one from the shelf. "Completely understandable," she added with a smile as she took the broomstick up to the front counter to wrap.

Nodding, "Yep I am. Nice to meet you." He could tell the poor kid was nervous, he remembered his first year. Hiding under benches...tables...behind bushes. A smile appearing on his face, at the memories, he nearly bursts out giggling.

"Yes, I've been there 3 years now. It's not bad, it can be a lot of fun, really." Chuckling slightly, he replies to his question of trying out. "Well...first you need to get on a broomstick. Flying lessons start, almost right away. If you're a natural, as I was, you should be able to try out for the team. Tryouts start not long into the new term...about a month or so."

"Oh, thanks." Adam said. "I really hope I'm a natural... That way I can play in the games... I wonder what part I'll get, if I'm any good in flying... Weird? As muggles , we always imagine flying, now that might be a possibility for me. US! Well, it was nice getting to know you JD, talk to you at school, maybe?" Adam said, waving by and leaving the shop, now looking over his shoulder in awe

Well, wasn't this random ?Savannah Conrad and Nekoda Russell in a Quidditch store. Errr....?

For starters, both girls hated quidditch, Savannah especially so they for sure weren't shopping for themselves.

Savannah looked around at all the brooms around her, "How many types of brooms do they need to make ?"Wasn't a broomstick JUST A broomstick ? Maybe one like flew faster than the other ? Savvy didn't know, she didn't care too much for her brother's babbles about quidditch.

Nekoda did though, which explained why they were in this store, so they could by Oreocakes a present.

Nekoda followed Savannah into the store, glancing around at the shelves of stuff. She honestly had no idea what any of this was for. EEK! But broomstick, that she could get. Couldn't be too hard, eh?

"I have nooo idea. But Orlando was complaining the other day about how slow a model his is. So I'ma gonna buy him a BETTER one." Because she loved him, and she had the money to do such.

"I might buy that book too...So I know what he's talking about..." Because half the time, she was severly lost.

Jayce walked into the Quidditch store, excited to see all of the new brooms and supplies. Oh, how he loved quidditch. He was upset that he hadn't played in at least a year because of the whole transfer thing. Stupid transferring in the middle of the year

So, feeling as excited as a kid in a candy store, even though Jay would be just as excited as a four year old, he glanced around at all of the brooms he most definitely couldn't afford.

As he turned, he bumped into someone. Muttering a quick sorry and excuse me, he walked past them only to snap his head around realizing it was his best friend, well at least the one he didn't live with.

"Savannah!" he chuckled, slinging his arm around her neck in a friendly way. "How are ya?" But then he noticed another girl with her. He gave her a big grin, knowing Savannah would introduce the two of them.

"How do we know which one is like fast and stuff?"Pffft...this was like epic failness, they were much better at shoe shopping. These brooms all looked the same and didn't SPARKLE, it made her mad. Things that didn't sparkle were considered BORING. Well, if they didn't sparkle and weren't hot.

"You would read a book about Quidditch...?"Uhm...BORING.

What was this ? A hug attack ?

Meeep. Savvy liked lots of hugs but who was this wonderful hug from...?

"Jason !"She said flinging her arms around him too, smiling. Finally she had ran into some one she DIDNT want to rip their head off. It was a nice change.

"Best friend Nekoda..."She said pulling away from Jayce to point at Nekoda, "This is best BOY!friend, Jason."

Yay.Mingle.

Nekoda shook her head, biting her lip worriedly. "Uhmm, I have no idea. Grab a random person and ask?" Tehe, because they'd had sooooo much good luck with randoms today. Ack, yeah no.

"I would...for Oreocakes..." Wouldn't S do the same for Ai-Aiiiii? Tehe, Nekoda thought she would.

Wait, what??? Who was the guy who was suddenly embracing Savannah? Erm, okay? But S didn't seem creeped out, so the dude must be okay. Smiling brightly and giving a small wave, Nekoda replied.

"Hey Jayce! It's nice to meet you!" OOOH! Ingenious idea! "Hey, do you know anything about the fast broom thingies?" Because she had to face facts. Nekoda needed HELP!

Jayce chuckled as the realization crossed Savvy's face. It was priceless. Pretty much hilarious.

He chuckled some more upon hearing her call him by his second name, dubbed to him by none other than Savannah. "Hi there." he grinned at her.

And then, just as he had predicted, she had introduced the two. Grinning, he turned to her friend, Nekoda apparently and extended his hand towards her. "Hello." he smiled brightly at her. "Nice to meet you too, Nekoda." he replied happily.

And then the girl was talking about quidditch and his brain quickly zoned in. Totally taking in what she was saying, but not totally understanding. "Well yeah, i know a good amount about quidditch, but i'm not sure about 'fast broom thingies." he chuckled.

Holy biiiiiiiiig group of people. Well, not really, but they were all chatting and they all seemed to know each other so that was something. Hopefully they wouldn't break anything. "Good afternoon, is there anything I can help you all with today? Maggie asked as she walked over to them.

Before Savannah could really say anything to Nekoda or Jayce, the blonde spotted a woman, obviously not a student approach them. OH ! She must have been the shop person lady ? Yes, she had to be cause she was asking if they needed help. JUST the person she and Nekoda needed. "Yeah actually.."She said, smile on her face. The blonde looked down at her sparkly shoes and then back up at the woman,"We need the fastest and most AWESOME broom in the whole shop but like...we don't anything about brooms so yeah..."Quidditch and broom scared Savannah to be honest. She would like DIE if she got on one of them. >.<

"We dont have a real limit, wee just need the best broom on the market.It's for my brother. So yes, help please ?"She pushed a strand of blonde hair behind her ear, catching that she was rambling.

Andy walked into the shop looking for a broom and some supplies
She walked to the broom display. She was a first year and she didn't know what to but at all. Looking around to see if a shop keeper was there something caught here eye. a nice shinny new broom that looked fast but what did she know she was only a first year. I wish someone would help me. Knowing me i might get a terrible broom.

"Of course," Maggie said to the girl, a little unsure who she meant when she said 'we', but still, she had to be as helpful as possible. "Well, first of all, how old are you and how old is your brother?" she asked, trying to make what could be a deal-breaking question as nicely sounding as possible.

Maggie saw a pretty small-ish girl come into the shop and look around without seeming to know what she was looking for. Approaching her with her hands clasped behind her back, Maggie said, "Hello is there something I can help you find today?"

Savannah rested a hand on her hip, chin held high. "i'm 17 and my brother is....15 I think ?"She said with a slightly confused look on her face. 15 sounded about right, she never really payed attention to be honest. >.<

Nekoda smiled, giving a small wave. "You too!" Jayce...Jayce...why did that sound familiar? URGH! THINK KODY! Of course, it was quite possible Savannah had mentioned him before...but she would've thought she would have remembered something like that...so why couldn't she remember? Someone MUST have mentioned him to he-

"OH GOODNESS! Your Rian's best friend!" YEY! Nekoda was proud of herself for remembering such. Tehe. Too bad she wasn't meeting him and having Eirian here too. *pout*

Hearing his confusion and what also sounded like amusement, Nekoda openned her mouth to answer when the Shopkeeper approached them. Help? Yes!

Sav beat her too the punch and N listened patiently as her bestie described what they wanted, before rolling her eyes at Savannah's weak answer. "Yes, he is 15." Merlin, she was dating a 15 year old? Meh, she always forgot the age gap between them.

Izabella's eyes lit up as she entered the broom shop. She walked straight over to the brooms. "Now, which is the fastest?" she asked herself aloud. Too bad first years weren't allowed on their brooms. She needed a new one really badly at home, though. One of her own. "Excuse me, but which broom here is the fastest? I really need a new one for home."
