anyone else think that they overdid Hermione in this movie

cause when she was flying around on the whomping willow, she grabs harry by one hand and lifts him up and throws him down under the tree to the shrieking shack. can anyone actually lifts someone up by one hand?
especially a bookworm like Hermione?

Hermione's (and Ron's) characterisation ruined this movie for me!

Well, I think they were trying to make the movie funny. I'm not one to say that the movies ruin the books for me. Of course, the books are always going to be better than the films, because they are the original canon. And the movies always have to be tweaked just a bit to allow for audiences who don't know the books like the backs of their hands, like we do. So, though they did overdo Hermione a bit, I think they were doing it for the entertainment value. And to get people in to watch it.

Hermione is supposed to be a bookworm, and it was still a change in what Hermione that made me ove her more. She was more awesome.

She was brilliant in this movie. But it was kinda hard to believe that she could just pick up Harry with one hand. Then again you have to consider that she was being thrown around by the whomping willow..so when she grabbed Harry the force of the whomping willow was how she was able to get him up with one hand.

My problem with this movie wasnt too much Hermione it was too little Ron. They seemed to cut a lot of his lines and some of his scenes out of the movie.

I always laugh during this scene. Thinking * Honestly, Really? That's not even possible!" So yeah a bit overdone, but it might be possible for other human beings like buff people :p.
But it doesn't bother me if it makes me laugh

I think it was funny. But, it's a Wizarding World, so I guess that anything can happen!

Well yes if your holding on to a tree for dear life that is spinning about 100 miles an hour. There is something called adrenaline which would enable you to pick somebody up like that. And I don't think Rons characteristics ruined anything in the film. He was funny, had a lack of maturity and everything else he was supposed to be in the book. But of course, we have our own opinions.

That part kind of reminds me of Nacho Libre. "Hey, let go of my blouse!"

Nah, I disagree. Hermione did not pull Harry up. The tree did, she just was holding Harry's hand.
