Ultimate Potterite Original original

I can't hold anything against the actors for the movie being a little, er, screwed up...

Gary Oldman did a great job! I pictured him a little differently, but as soon as I saw him on screen I accepted it and was happy!

Definitely a good choice!

I felt he did well as Sirius. Of course I didn't imagine him that way, nor Lupin that way for that matter, but he makes a good Sirius.

I know that a lot of people don't agree with me on this one but I don't think he was good as Sirius. I mean his acting was great but he's not how I pictured him. I really loved Sirius's character in the book and payed most attention to him so it's really hard for me to accept the fact that Sirius is nothing like how I wanted him to look like.

He wasn't meant to be clean. Escaped convicts don't have bathrooms! & he was good looking in PoA!

Dont get me wrong with this, i love gary oldman hes a great actor and all the rest of it, but for me although he played Sirius well and the shreiking shack scene was electric, i'm still not sure, i mean when you think about he is perfect, hes got the old haggard tortured soul look. But im not 100% convinced, Lupin rocked though

idk...I pictured Sirius to be really different. I mean they made him look hideous- with post-Azkaban Sirius, you're supposed to be able to tell that he used to be really good looking-the way the did his make-up...he just looked nasty.

I don't know about anyone else, but I didn't expect for Sirius to be funny in this movie. There were too many other emotions that had to be shown, and the man just excaped from being locked up in Azkaban for twelve years. I expect the funniness to show in GoF and OotP though.

BTW, I thought Gary did an excellent job.

Oldman did a great job, though he's radically different than I imagined Sirius to be. I don't know if the other actors who could have played Sirius played better

Gary Oldman is a great actor but I don't think he was the one to play Sirius. He just wasn't how I picture him, but I'm not saying he was awful.

I think he did a great job. We played the part very well (the little time he had). A lot of people are ragging on how the actors looked or dressed, that necessarily isn't the actor's fault. That is up to the costume and make-up designers. I think both he and David Thewlis were wonder additions to the HP movies.

I think Gary Oldman did a fantastic job. He had that crazy but innocent thing going on. He was great.
