|  Vast Improvements: Speedy page loads and better site performance
I just wanted to announce that we have made some improvements to the server settings and now the site should be much faster!
I am very sorry that this past week has seen some very slow load times and even a lot of page errors (such as database timeouts and so forth). Our traffic has more than doubled since the release of book 6, and thus we are working hard to keep the performance at top.
We are working to optimalize it even more but I already notice a HUGE difference from yesterday (changes were made around midnight GMT) to today.
Thanks for your amazing support and please continue to make this the very best fan oriented Harry Potter site on the web!

We made even more modifications yesterday and now the site is even faster!
As you can see, we had our record amount of visitors yesterday with 1420 people using the forum at the same time and the server didn't crash. That was impossible before. | |
