|  Suggestions for Improved Forum Names
I just noticed and I dunno if a lot other people have too - there are two zonko's here at SS. One's for games and one in the role play. My suggestion would be changing the games zonko into weasleys wizard wheezes or something coz, that way it would suit more. Instead of making movie discussions in 'The screening room', you could use one of the shops of diagon alley as mentioned in the books. I mean, the category's called the wizarding world, and there isn't anything known as the screening room in the wizarding world. It's not even constructive criticism for SS - my opinion's just trying to make SS more potty for harry.
However, it's upto you guys at the top as to what you want it to be. I'm just giving it a go.

Cool idea. Actually, Zonko's (the games) was set up pre-OoTP and the extensive Hogsmeade in the school RP hasn't been around all that long (and since it's separated from the rest of the site, it hadn't occurred to us that the names of two of the forums on the site were the same). We've also been trying to come up with more Potter-esque names for some of the forums like "The Screening Room" so, any suggestions you (or others) might have would be great. | |

for the games shop you could have 'Gamble and Japes' (i think it is) its in the COS game and its the diagon alley joke shop. That could clear the similarities of the two | |

You could use Florean Fortescue's Icecream Parlour for the movies. And like crazy moon fan said, even Gambol and Japes would not be a bad idea, though I've seen several sites use that. Not many have thought of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes yet. | |

Actually, Emma, we got rid of the Florean forum because it was stupid. LOL (It had book and movie reviews which were already located elsewhere and once I moved those out, it was silly to just keep member interviews there so, I moved them to a new forum within the library called "Witch Weekly" which was a more appropriate place for them, I think).
While I do like the idea of getting some fo the forums some more Potter-esque names, I think I'm going to leave Zonko's the way it is because the school really is separate from the rest of the site (besides- Zonko's is a thread within the school and Zonko's Joke Shop is a forum within the rest of the site).

but ideas of improved forum names... well i think they should be shorter. i mean, they are kinda really long. umm.... i do think tho that Godric's Hollow is a good one.... 9 and 3/4 should be a forum name for something too... it is a good one... and The Cupboard Under the Stairs, i dunno it just came to me...

when you go to the Diagon Alley you can find lots of "shops" where you can find and "buy" wands cauldrins brooms uniforms!
the shops can be Threads (something like the real Diagon Alley but only with "shops" not other threads) and the names of the threads can be like the "real" shops! | |
