Please read through every post to be sure your bug hasn't been reported already. Please be very specific and give details when necessary. For example, don't just say "I can't send PMs" say "When I click on 'send message' I get an error message that says I need to put on clean underwear before I can send my message".

I cannot possibly respond to everyone here and many of these bugs we'll know about already (gallery is empty, the gallery sideblock doesn't work, there's no top banner, etc) so, please don't be offended if it seems like you're being ignored because you aren't. We just don't have time for much of anything else right now other than fixing the issues.

I am unable to get onto housepoints page. Also my banner is working okay but i think that is because i am using the deatheater forum setting (if that makes sense)

I final thing is im glad to see the site back up

to be specific, the banners for the "New Deathly Hallows" and 'Slytherin Green" isnt working, the other skins have their banners working fine.

regarding the House points, i can see the multicolored chart/ indicator, its just that the link which would bring us to the page of the housepoints details seems to be missing.

oh and i'm using the Firefox browser, in case you needed to know.

The gallery doesn't appear to be empty to me, but when I try to upload images I'm told that I don't have permission to do it.

^ The pictures are there in the gallery but the hotlinking isn't working in the articles.

eta: Ah, that's because we've lost 139 pages worth of images. Everything uploaded from Feb - now.

He means like you know when someone makes a post and then on the side bar underneath "Hogwarts RPG", it lists the lastest posts. They ARE updating, you just don't see it under "Hogwarts RPG". It's coming up underneath the "Latest Forum Posts."

Also, i dunno if this is just me, but the school staff tag things aren't there. Apparently the quidditch captain tags aren't showing up either; not sure about prefects.

Okay, yeah I suspected that would be an issue since I only recently fixed that issue and we lost all changes to our php codes that were made within the past few months. *dies*

A lot of links won't work, guys. Other than forum posts and other things that are integrated into vBulletin (like smilies, the staff page, etc) we lost EVERYTHING and are still int he process of recovery of those files. So, stuff like the Hogwarts, A History pages or SotS haven't been recovered yet.

Kevin is working on the Gallery right now which is why it isn't working. Please be patient (the gallery and house point are already on the bug list at the top of the page).

EDIT: I just wanted to thank everyone for their contributions and for taking the time to read through the list before posting. I really really appreciate your help!

well for me "Hogwarts RPG" does update normally as does everything else in the sideblock (except for the picture frame, which i understand is still being worked on in the gallery)

from what i've seen so far, the usertitle icons that only works are those that says the Houses and the News Mods. everything else-- prefects, quidditch captains, ministry approved, the subject the prof teaches and so on-- are gone. even the Wizengamot icon seems to be selectively gone for some users.

We're fixing things, so someone may have reported something as a bug but it has since been fixed. I'll try to stay more on top of what's been fixed for you.

Data may be recovered/restored from time to time so don't worry about telling us if something that isn't working for someone but is working for you.

I really don't know if this is an actual issue or if it's just set up differently but this is the first time I've noticed this happening:
the fan club section set up on public profiles looks really weird, like it says Fan Club before the name of the club, with weird prefix signals in front of it.

yet again, I don't know if this is an error or just a different set up, so I apologize now if I just wasted your time.

It's not a waste of time

We actually changed the names of the Fan Clubs (a couple weeks ago, I think) slightly to make it easier for th admins. So instead of having The Kris Fan Club we now have ~Fan Club: Kris The~ before it denotes it is a site-specific club and the * denotes a character or actor fan club.

What is the URL you have bookmarked for SS? I think there is a pop-up ad on the front page, but not in the forums (at least not for me). My default SS bookmark is the forum index.

Also, you might want to check your pop-up blocker settings (Tools -> Pop-up blocker -> Pop-up blocker settings). If Snitchseeker is not on the list of allowed sites, consider adding it before you come on-site next, since you visit often. Of course, make sure your anti-virus program protects you while you surf (I use AVG Free v.8). Let me know if this helps, ok?

Hello

Im having problems with my PM box. Ive been able to have up to 500 messages and I was able to send up to 25 people. But now it says my box is 100% full (I only have 432 messages) so it wont let me send messages out.

I dont know if this is a glitch or if I just cant do that anymore...

When I try to view a picture in the gallery from the display box on the left, I get an "Information" message saying "Sending you to admin mode" which just continually refreshes on the same message instead of directing me to the enlarged version of the thumbnail picture. O_o

Edit: The same thing also happens with everything I try to get to in the gallery (i.e. the browsing, search and view links and even when direct linking to it in the browser etc.)

Edit 2: I logged out to see if I could access the gallery as a guest, and had no problems. Issue probably only applies to the mod usergroup...

Cristy: Same thing is happening to me but I thought it was with everyone. I guess not.

It's not just mods. It happens to me, too. Unless the board considers me a mod because I do mod Level 7 of the MoM.
