Well with the sots we want to involve our members and our readers as much as possible. Every month Jolie with make a news article asking for peoples harrypotter art work (whether it be hand drawn or photoshopped) and we will use it as a front cover for the upcoming edition. Just wait for Jolie to make news about it and submit to her :]

In order to change your name you must be a member of the site for no less than a year. You also must have at least 4000 posts. And you also must have NO warnings. The news isnt made through threads it is made through a special news thing OooOoOoOo, so that expains that one. ou should, however, be allowed to post a thread in the suggestion box in the RP. I will look into this for you and PM you when I get some answers :]

If you go to 'User CP' on the blue bar just above the navigation you will see a sideblock in your user CP. Underneath 'Miscellanious' there will be a link called 'Group Memberships'. Click on this and it will have a hugeee list of all the clubs that we have here on Snitchseeker.

You then must click the wee circle of the group you want to join, go to the bottom of the list and select the 'Join Group' button. You will then be asked to give a reason for you joining this club, simply type it in and click submit. All you have to do now is wait until you have been approved and until then you can join other fanclubs you are interested in by just following the same guidelines.

Visit the Forum Index page; you'll see notices on all the sections which are temporarily closed to new posts, to prevent DH spoilers. This is temporary. Once the whole FF staff have finished reading DH and are prepared to mod it again, we'll open up FF threads again. Do remember however, that there are to be NO post-DH stories or any other DH spoilers posted in Grimmauld Place until the Spoiler ban is completely ended. Thanks.

You can post spam in the TP Chat threads located in St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries, but flaming is just plain rude anywhere, so I don't personally advise it. For information about the sorting, please revisit the Newbie Hut or read the Rules and FAQ and this thread in its entirety. Being an Order Member is a special part of the July Jubilation games, which have closed.

Firstly, this really isn't a Fan Fiction question, so I'll copy this to the Prefect's Office for everyone's benefit.

PM stands for Private Message. At the top right of your screen you'll see a block that says something like:

Welcome, evlpez.
You last visited: Today at 01:22 AM
Private Messages: Unread 0, Total 238.

Only it'll have YOUR name and tell you if you have any unread messages in your inbox. You can use this Private Message system to contact other members on the site, like ask staff specific questions about their forums, or invite friends to meet you in the Role Play somewhere. It's king of like e-mail, but it's only within SnitchSeeker and you aren't giving out your private e-mail information.

As for making friends, it is always good practise to be courteous and friendly, but to be cautious. With new people, never ever ever give out real personal information like your last name, the town you live in or other details like the name of your school. It's very easy to foster close friendships by sharing intimate details, but remember that not everyone is as they seem to be. We at SnitchSeeker encourage our members to make friends and we try very hard to make this a safe site, but you must help yourself by practising safe internet habits.
