I thought it was okay, but it just didn't sound like jk to me. I mean i guess her writing style may be changing, but it didn't sound like the other books. I know harry is growing up and changing and the book didn't write like harry though, if you know what i mean...

I've read HBP 3 times so far and have enjoyed it just as much if not more than the 1st time. Keep looking for hints, throwaway lines, everything and anything that might foreshadow upcoming events. I figure if I just keep re-reading all 6 books that the next 2 years will pass by quickly.

At first I thought the author was throwing everything but the kitchen sink into the first 3 chapters. "Picture this," I yelled to my brother who had yet to open his copy,"Kreacher in the Dursley's livingroom!"

I thought it was pretty good ... I mean ... we've been waiting for it for how many years? Lol
To tell you the truth, the first chapter bored me, but it was okay. It did seem to turn a tad teen soap-operaish though ...

HBP was the best from JKR yet! some nut told me who was going todie and who wud be the killer etc etc...in SMS form,i thought all of it was hoax....only the info was quite true and well,i was left crying by the end of the book!
Of all the Potter-books,this one is the most plot-driven...JKR rules!

I would say the romance bit of it was a little rushed up but otherwise this was the BESTEST one by JKR

It's so sad. I thought that "he" killed "him" but was not sure. I always wondered if "he" was good, or just pretending to be but was actually bad after all.

Excelllent! Never expected "Potions Master" to be the HBP. Or for "the only one he was afraid of" to Die.
