i think that its a the DADA Teacher, remember that HBP is somehow related to CoS so i dont think its to do with crookshanks because he was introduced until PoA.. personally i think its the lion type bloke
and by that i mean that the DADA teacher is the lion type bloke

i don't think it's an 'it', because felix is definitely a human name (my maths teacher's first name is felix). maybe it is the name of the characters jkr described for us earlier. | |

I'm actually thinking that this might be a red herring as well...but I'm not sure, JKR always has a way of sneaking things up on us unexpectadly. Do you think that the HBP would be introduced at this time in the Book? Well, we can't actually say if it is too early or late for a character to be introduced because, I mean, we don't even know how long the book is yet!

I personally think that it will be the new Minister of Magic.
For some reason, I think that the Half-Blood Prince is going to be more of an unlucky character, so the name wouldn't fit.
Then again, I really don't mind who he is, so long as I can find out soon. | |

Felix is a males name and also very common cats name, is this just a co-incidence that there is a lion type man in the book?! Well, I can't be the DADA teacher as Chapter 14 is way too late to bring in the DADA teacher unless it is going to be lionger than GOF then it could be. Who knows! | |
