Well first of all i'd just like to say that everyone seems to think that only two people will die but J K Rowling said that two people will die that she didn't plan to kill off. doesnt that mean that there will be more than two deaths?

as much as i hope that he lives...... i think that lupin is going to die either protecting Tonks or avenging her death. ( i dont want her to die either) .

I also think that draco is going to die and maybe Snape.

I really hope that Harry lives over Voldemort.....

Snape, Lupin and have no Idea. Can't explain why. I just think that's what's gonna happen. No idea how they'd die either,

I don't think Snape will die somehow...I dunno, it makes perfect sense for him to die, because plenty of people resent him, but he is such a complex character. I think he'll do what he has to to survive.

I think one of the Weasleys will go, not sure who and possibly Lupin too. I wonder what will happen to Draco Malfoy...

I think it's gotta be Harry AND Voldemort. She said something ages ago that she was going to end the last book so that no-one could carry it on and make more sequels. So if Harry dies, that solves that problem, and I think Voldemort's got to die, because again, it would leave the book open for a Reign on Terror.

With Jo it's hard to tell her exact meaning. She is vague on purpose and encourages people to theorize.

Personally, I think that IF Lupin dies, it will be from a fatal wound that he receives while killing Fenrir Grayback! I swear, if she kills off Lupin I will curse and scream and cry and shout mean things at her from afar! LOL I don't think I can handle Lupin dying after losing Sirius. I think she will let him live and kill off Peter, leaving Remus as the last living Marauder. She has stated before that Lupin sort of represents a handicap person and how they can overcome the prejudice, fear and ignorance that people have toward them. If she killed him off, that would be completely undermining the belief she puts forth that they are just as capable of succeeding as everyone else. (I totally agree with her on this point!)


Now that that's said, I chose Snape and Hagrid. Snape because he deserves it, and it's the only way he is going to be redeemed, as she stated years ago that he would be. However, I think he will die either defending Harry at some point, or defending Draco.

I chose Hagrid because she tends to bring in new characters for a reason...Grawp. I think that Hagrid has taught Grawp enough that he will be an asset to the Order, and he will have more cause to help if Hagrid is dead. Look at the Giants' attitude so far....they were more easily persuaded by the DEs, so most may be on their side. Grawp may not be able to persuade them to help the Order, because Hagrid told us that he was small for a Giant and the others were hurting him, but he, alone, would be a huge help. Hagrid still has an important part to play yet, but I fear he will be one of the deaths she mentioned. That would be a big loss for Harry, and we know how much JK loves to torture our poor hero! (Which is a good argument for Lupin dying, but I'm stubbornly playing blind to that possibility! LOL)

Hmm, I think Snape and Lupin will probably go. Snape, possibly for betraying Voldemort (I swear, Dumbledore is still alive and hiding in Siberia with a group of Eskimos). I really hope Lupin doesn't have to die in the book, though I'm sure it will be a very heroic one if he does go.

I also think that a Weasley will die as well. They've been such a big part of the books, that while it would be incredibly sad, it would also be quite unexpected. For some reason I'm thinking Mrs Weasley.

I really doubt that Harry will die, though she may do one of those hanging things where we don't actually know if he dies of not. Just mortally wounded or something.

Maybe Draco and *sniffs* Remus.

i think perhaps hermione may be one, something to hit close to harry and a twist we might not see coming. it is the last book so it could be anyone. but i do think snape and draco both have possibilities.

I say Harry Kills Voldemort but before he is able to do this, Voldemort Kills either Hermione, Ron, or Ginny. one of those three. bc even though he will still be alive, one of his two best friend or girl he loves will be dead! tahts what i think.

He is such a villanous character in the books and movies. I hope Jo will axe him from DH by finishing him off.

As for other characters I think Voldemort certainly is one of the 2 deaths and probably Harry. But I hope he won't be killed! I would be sad and miserable when this happens... Sob!

The question is 'Will Jo keep her promise with 2 deaths?' I'm afraid that she kills off another character also.

if harry dies i would cry lol but it would make an interesting ending, but one maybe most predicted xx

Snape will die SAving Harry, Leaving Dumpledore to explain to Harry that Lilly Potter had been the only woman Snape had ever loved, and though he hated Harry for his relation to James (a constant reminder that his greatest rival got his girl) He had repeatedly acted to save him as he was all that he had left of Lilly. AS Rowlings said the the characters to die were main characters, The second would most likely be Hagrid or Herminie. Of the two I am hoping for Hagrid, though it would be sad to lose him, It would be much sadder to lose the couple of Ron & Herminie.

As long as it is not Harry or Ginny... I'll be very sad if it is Hermione or Ron, but those and the rest I can handle, Harry and Ginny would devastate me. Harry deserves a life, a happy one!

I think that Percy may die, and Lupin and Greyback will end up killing each other.
