I voted for a student and a dursley.....anyone but the characters we all know and love. Yet I have a feeling that Remus Lupin may be one of the victims of death, and just because I know how I'd be if my true love died I think Tonks will be right behind him in a sacrifice kinda way.
Depressing I know, but those are my thoughts. I surely hope not. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. | |

2 more deaths!? these books are getting sadder. but i guess more deaths are not a big surprise to me.not after voldie came back. i think lupin and snape.even though i don't want lupin to die. i think it's him.snape just deserves it, even though i wish he were a good guy. | |

I kind of think that Hermione and Ron will die saving Harry from Voldie's very last attack. Then Voldemort will finally be gone. That would be such a sad ending, but.... well... it would really show how strong the theme of friendship was in the books, which is what I think JKR was aiming at. | |

Well, there are so many that could be possible but I am rooting for Snape. I hope he snuffs it, and voldmort too!! But as for the other character, I think it will be someone big, like one of the three, or a weasley parent or something. It is gonna be terrible though!! I can't wait for the book, but don't want to see the destruction!!! | |

i think someone major will be killed like ron or hermionie or maybe even hagrid but then again i think it might be a weasley because in book 6 (the HBP) doesn't Mr Weasley say "Half our family does seem to owe you their lives" maybe that means one of them tries to save him and then they die maybe it could be ginny? | |

As much I don't want to think about it, if I HAD to guess, I think it would be Hagrid and Snape.
Hagrid because he seemed really vulnerable in the last book (especially the last chapter) and Snape because, even though he did Voldemort's work, I still think Voldemort will be the cold blooded %*#! that he is and kill him... | |

I think there is a good chance that any of the trio (Harry  , Ron  or Hermone  ) is not safe. I can see Harry willing to scarfice his life in order to put an end to "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named" and save the wizarding world once and for all. And the phrophecy does suggest one must die... But JK isn't usually obivous so they could be safe...But then again she did write the final chapter in 1990 so maybe harry was always going to die. The jury is out for me on the trio.
I voted Hagrid.  I do think Hagrid is a goner for sure. He is the last adult that Harry is truely close to at school. And Hargrid was mostly in the back story of book . Harry's adult friends sure seem to drop like flies.
I also voted a Weasley other than Ron. I hate to say it but I think there is a good chance one of the adult Weasleys might die for the same reason. They are the closest thing to a real family poor Harry has. I think that would
really motivate Harry to find "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named". 
I do think that there are more than just the two deaths mentioned in the interview. So I'm sure some of
the minor & major characters will be getting the axe, too.
I really think the wedding of Fluer to Bill will not be a happy and normal event. The Dark Lord didn't go off to lick his wounds at the end of book 6 like he did in the other books. He is at the top of his game. Where better to attack and kill most of the Order  that at the wedding (surely most of them will be in attendance)?
