I know I definitely prefer the old covers since to me they seem more authentic (same as the different Beedle the Bard covers), and for some reason - that my friends cannot understand - the authentic aspect is really important to me.

i like the older ones, cause the new ones have J.K. Rowling written realllyyy big so then it makes it look more fake. YET, i love the covers, they're magnificent. Sucks that I got the old ones before though.!!

I'd have to agree with -myloverdraco1737- on the large JK Rowling placement on the newer covers.. they look less like actual Hogwarts school books because of it. If only they could Keep the new covers and lose the huge JK print. Are these books going to come in a pack like the old ones or are they going to be sold separately?

the old ones look like books you would actually find in the hogwarts library... i think the new ones look too much like those ministry posters in OotP... i will be etting the new ones how ever as i didn't get them the first time round - and i haven't read them but REALLY want them.  | |
