I think personally non of the above but that she could write a book based around the teachers past and especially dumbledore of the great battle and everything he did. and i would like to know more about professo flitwick :-D

I think it would be something like Quiddich through the Ages. I think she should write what she wants to write about. But I think that with something like The Harry Potter series, the people will always want more. For JK to be thorough with everything Harry Potter. There can never be too much Harry Potter! | |

A Harry Potter 8 would be cool but I doubt its going to happen. The way the 7th book ended pretty much brought the story to a close. I hope she will make the encyclopedia, though. That would be AWESOME!

If she did write another Harry Potter book I would really want it to be what happened after the Battle of Hogwarts, and how Harry, Ron, and Hermione dealt with all the funerals and how they dealt with Voldemort being gone. An encyclopedia would be cool too.

I don't actually want her to write an eighth book, to be honest. I think the ending with the epilogue made it very final and conclusive. Writing another book would just seem illogical to me. She might write an accompanying book though, maybe A History of Magic? I would love a book written from a character's point of view, like what Stephenie Meyer did with 'Midnight Sun'. A book from Snape's perspective would be amazing!
And I'm thinking she probably isn't writing the Encyclopedia because of Pottermore. She's already released quite a bit of additional information on that and she will probably be doing so in the books to come. I just hope she answers some of the questions or explains more!

The epilogue didn't leave much room for a book about the future. I don't believe she has ruled out writing anything about the Marauders' days, like the First War Era. That would be awesome to see! Or maybe a short informational work about the days immediately following Voldemort's death. That may detail the cleanup, the trials of DE's, how the Ministry reacted, etc. I think Pottermore has replaced a print encyclopedia. It would be nice, in the future books' releases, to see some explanations of how various incantations work, such as the Fidelius Charm. We have an incomplete picture of all the intricacies involved.

There are two thoughts for me on this - I would love to see a book about Harry's parents, Snape etc when they were at Hogwarts during their last year, early deatheaters and the lead up to the first wizard war, Order ofthe Phoenix and of Voldemorts attcak at the Potter home.
The second about the children of the Harry, Ron and the gang as they had try and live upto their famous parents, can you imagine the tales that hagrid would tell to to the young Potters and Weasleys?
