That's good feedback. I will be sure to make a new skin with less "depressing" colors. Thenext skin I make will closer match what we had in the last version of SS. I will then make one to match our very first version of SS from back in January 2002.

Smile are here: To get the options of smiles and color back into your posts all you have to do is edit your Options section. You can get there up using either the Quick Link or User CP, short for User Control panel, in the blue line at the top of every SS page. The section you need to edit in Options is called Message Editor Interface. It is at the very bottom on the page and you click the box and choose the Standard Editor. Smiles are there once you edit this. Enjoy!!! There is a third choice that is more like a normal Word toolbar. Remember if you know the BB code for smiles you can use them also.

I encourage everyone to try different settings. Click on things and use the method of discovery to "learn" the new format. All of us are learning things about this new format. Help each other. We're all in this together.

Its nice because you dont have to wait another page to load before you write your response.

I am slightly lost at times but its nice that the site actually works right!

I'm not crazy about the new colors. Any plans to have the old ones back?

And one of my Fan Fics got deleted. I'm not entirely surprised by this because it was finished and no one was posting anymore but I would like to complain about how there's no place to put finished fan fics in the restricted section once they're done. <-- That's actually a general complaint, Not related to the new site layout.

SS does seem faster though. The Smilies load alot faster.

Don't get me wrong i love the new SS. But i'm really lost. i guess once i get used to it ill like it just as much as the old one though. Good job to everyone that worked on it!

i like the new site and the speed's pretty fast too but the sad part is that our avvies hav to b 80x80 pixels

Not anymore they dont- 100x100 now.

Actually its been changing frequently between the two sizes. Nothing is set in stone yet.

The problem is I don't like them being over 80x80, but the mods insist on having them at 100x100. To comprimise I have made everybody at 80x80 except mods and admins (notice I don't even have an avatar) who is 100x100.

It may change back, but I really don't like having such large avatars. Most sites only have 60x60, or 75x75.

I like the speed, but sometimes the threads are hard to sort through. I think we mostly just have to get used to the new look.

Well, actuay, even when I use Opera, SS is being slower actually. I liked the old SS. It was kind of bright. But somhow I feel that military green is just not the correct color. The old SS was really nice. For pne thing, I noticed something. Many HP sites make it dark colors because its magic and all. but SS was unique and I liked it. But th old SS ROCKED.

I dont mean to offend the Admins and all but this is just my opinion.

i dont like the green but i am suire i read a post by a admin today saying this isnt the final layout.

i think what is wrong is that we were so used to an invision board and this is obviously not invsion it will take a bit of geting used to.
