I've played all the Harry Potter games and this one was a disappointment. Where the fifth game had easy controls, a decent story line, and many hours of gameplay, this one had sloppy graphics, controls, and a choppy story line.
You think that after having 8 more months to work on it, that they would improve it. I say, 2 snitches, because it wasn't terrible, but when it is worse than that last game, you know there is something wrong. Hahaha
I would say for us Harry Potter fans, that the best games so far are Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
I would just say, rent this one.

I've just started playing and haven't been impressed yet. The play is choppy and the camera angles are a bit odd. Can't seem to see at a 360* around Harry when he goes around, so you miss stuff inadvertently. Will keep on playing to give a better review. See ya soon...

I gave it five beacuz I think it's the best 1 yet but if I had 2 rate the movie it would only be about a 3 and a half.It was my fav book and i just didn't like the movie beacuz of what they took out.

I gave it 4, and only because of Hogwarts. I happen to love Hogwarts, so a game where you can walk around the castle and recognise everything from the movies and from the books is fantastic IMO.
My family and I have all the games, the first 5 for PS2, and we have enjoyed them a lot. I would like to know if there is maybe more gaming in the PS2 games. HBP is for PC and there really isn't a lot to do. Emma Riddle your 5 hours seem reasonable, I think that's where I am, and where my daughter and I spent a whole weekend taking turns to complete the COS game for PS2 and then returned several times to play again, I can't see it happen with this one.
50% of the game is videos. I miss the challenges.
