The movie was the best so far.

The movies always fall short of the books.

They are extremely different mediums.

After every movie, I'm compelled to reread the books.

It's my fave HP movie! It had the most stuff from the book, but they left out some of my favorite parts. I loved Harry and Cho's kiss !! I'll always look forward to that part. Professor Umbridge is soooo evil!

Order of the Phoenix could have been so much better, but what was cut out, clearly showed what was not going to be in book seven! Like when Dumbledore stunned all those who came to take him in. I felt that would be a plot point used in book seven, but when they didn't show it, I knew that it was nothing. et

Gryffindor Harry_Potter_4_ever

im sorry 2 say i was a bit disappointed bu the movie. my complaint was they cut out huge chunks of the story (that was in the book) that was important. not 2 mention there were some mistakes in the story in the movie. i know they couldnt have been entirely faithful 2 the book seeing as its 2 long but it seemed more like a trailer 2 me. however the fighting scenes were cool, luna was gr8 and the kiss was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it's good not the excellent one tho cause all these cuts and they didn't made things that gives book 5 the grim look which wanted.

The movie by far was the best one so far, as Harry's emotional turmoil was played so well by Dan. He really gets this kid, and knows just how to play what he is going through. I think they dismissed how upset he was by Sirius' death at the end. I cried when I read the book, especially when he went to Nick wanting to know if he would come back. It was very much down played in the movie. I hate that they changed the OWLs. I so wanted to see him blast the Defense Against The Dark Arts, and produce his patronous, much to Umbridges dismay. I thought the way that Fred and George left school was awesome, but I wished they had left that a diversion for Harry to get to the flu network rather then interrupting the OWLs.

I have seen it three times, and can't wait for the dvd. The thestrals and the ministry scenes were by far the best, especially the battle between dumbledore and voldemort.

Also, they could not have picked better people for Luna or Umbridge, that is just how I pictured both of them. Luna was so precious. I feel like there was a lot of foreshadowing left out that was in book 5 for book 7. It will be interesting to see how they have to deal with that in movie 7.

I absoloutley loved the movie - definetly one of the best so far!
The acting was fantastic. I'm dissapointed at some of the details they left out, but like it's been said, that's to be expected.
Overall, an amazidng film and I'm really looking forward to the DVD release.

I thought the dementors were not as scary as the last movie, Professor Umbridge was not as nasty as I expected nor did she look like a toad to me. Voldemort's face doesn't look like a snake either however the character came through. All-in-all I thought the movie was good, but needed some minor 'tweeking'.

basically i'm not going to comment on the plot because its the book and the book is simply amazing no questions asked.

buuuutttt the movie:

so i thought that they did a pretty good job, better than in the previous movies, on getting exact dialogue correct.
but i was SO ****** they took out quidditch!!!! especially with the whole weasley is our king!
and i loved the aura of angst. yes, angst angst angst as puppet pals put it.
hmm, umbridge and luna were filled quite nicely, great jobs by imelda staunton and evanna lynch!
but i was very angry that they shortened the conversation between harry and dumbledore at the end, it was supposed to be something that leads into the rest of the books and its supposed to be long and very very explanatory, is it not? i found it unsatisfying...

but one thing that keeps on bugging me, but i'm not quite so sure its there, did luna use the levicorpus spell on a death eater when she was knocked down in the hall of prophecy? i was so sure i heard her yell out the spell and i was flabbergasted, but now i'm not so sure its what she said because i have heard nobody else remark on this....if anyone knows what i'm referring to, please let me know it i'm hearing things or if i am justified in my disgruntled view on this!!

overall, it was better than the last movies, but as all movies-from-books are, it just wasn't the same. and i have to learn to accept this as JKR has said that she has, they are separate stories from separate forms of entertainment and each is good in its own right.

I hated it. Sure, there were various parts that were good, perhaps better than in the book, BUT:

1) Okay, where was Remus when the Order rescued Harry? Where??? He's supposed to greet Harry, and Harry's supposed be like, 'hey, it's you'! But nooooo, he only appears at the table, watching Harry and Sirius, who is supposedly all important; hug, and then at the end! He hardly gets to say a word! GRRR.

2) Tonks! She hardly got a line! No one who I know who hasn't read the book knows who she is, which is just crap!

3)Right, the place with the orbs is not, I repeat, not Black!

And they want this director for another film? Idiots!

*rant, rave*

EDIT: And who, WHO, made young Remmie into a HIPPIE??? And made the Marauder scene go by so fast, blinking would be regretted!!!???

I was upset at the movie because it cut out so many good things but there was nodoubt that the fight scene between dumbledore and voldemort was hype.

Absolutely loved it! The best HP film so far. Much darker than the others - which is a good thing.. :-)

Nice to see Helena Bonham-Carter as Bellatrix Lestrange. I'm a big fan of hers and she was excellent in the role. Can't wait for the next movie!

I thought that the film was good. It had alot of action in it, especially at the end. But I think that it would have been even better if they hadn't left so much out, like some parts of the prophecy, and the part where the statues come to life, and a little more. It was still a good film though.

I enjoyed the movie, but I think that they should have shown the Harry DD office scene and the marauders scene properly! Also,Harry's grief at Sirius's death wasn't shown all that well.I think that Dan did a wonderful job, better than GoF

i didnt think it was the best in the five that have come out. I t was a good film but it didnt stick to the book as closly as the others did and i could say that it was david yates but i think its very hard to say as the books keep getting bigger and bigger, so obviously, its going to be harder to fit it all into one film.

If it hadn't been based on a book it would have beena really good film but as i am comparing to the book its a bit different!
