Default Lego Harry Potter video game: Yay or nay?

Today WB and TT Games announced that next year they will release a Lego Harry Potter video game based on the first four books/movies.

What do you think of this idea?

Will you be buying it?

Even though I like the idea of a Lego Harry Potter video game, I'm certainly not going to buy it myself. Is it wrong for me to say that I find it a bit too.. childish?

I like the look of the game - maybe I'll by it for my youner cousins, its very simple and will be easier for younger fans, as the EA HP games are a lot more complex, and I can only just master them - little kids have next to no chance at those ones so this will be great for under 8's.

That is exactly why they stopped making the physical kind, actually.

I like the idea. It sounds like a good game for kids. I don't know if I would buy it unless my younger cousins came for a visit.

Since I work in a video game store, I'll probably borrow it but I doubt I'll actually buy it.
I love the HP video games but I had Lego Batman and traded it in because I thought it was really bad.
Not just the odd graphics but the gameplay itself isn't that great - it's definetly targeted at a younger market.

Not really my thing to be honest-I'm not very good at computer games and I don't really see the point of making a game with graphics that are intentionally not that great because they're supposed to look like Lego figures.

Bahahaha!

Definitely a game for children and those who have a child at heart moment. It looks cute, but I don't think it will be something I spend money on. Unless the price goes down and I can get it for cheap, but until then - nuu. Still though, very cute. =D

Well, I like Lego Star Wars and the games are always hilarious. So I may get it or I may not. If I do I will get it on the DS Lite because Wii games are more expensive.

All the lego games have been awesome so far. You kinda forget that you are playing a lego game like 5 mins into it, because the humor aspects and the uniqueness of the these games make them such a classic. I can't wait to grab a copy

I think it will be awesome...they have done such a great job with Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Batman so Harry Potter should be just as good if not better. The Lego games keep to the storyline and add a huge comic relief to it....they are so funny. I can't wait.

The other Lego games are awesome! I'm a gamer and it's safe to say I'm not a child (no children allows me to be a big kid myself). Whether you're a kid or not the Lego games are great to play. They are funny! So yes, the HP Lego game I will be getting.
