i think harry has to kill voldemort because thats what the prophesy said but then since it's so obvious it might be none of the above.

i believe it is harry job to kill him or maybe even convert voldemort <~ something i very highly doubt. the reason why i believe that is because dumbledor is not evil. he wouldn't be able to be evil. and as for him converting him, if anyone would convert voldemort it would be harry. harry has to and i have a feeling that he will kill voldemort and everything thing will be better and harry will ending up living life the way he wants.

Well we should all know by now that he couldn't kill him because of the horcrux ideal.
And for all of you that say that the prophecy "SAYS" that it's Harry, it shows that it could have been Neville. It was Voldemort's choice to think it was Harry and not Neville.

I think that it's the whole prechecy deal that dumbledore was thinking of, Therefore he did not kIll voldie himself... And I voted for Harry has to be the one to kill him.. Even though in MY story, Voldemort goes good.....I have no life

The prophecy never said "Harry Potter'" had to. Voldemort chose harry, and that was his misdemeanor.(sp)
Snape overheard Trelawny say half of the prophecy and told Voldemort. Voldemort assumed it was the Potters and went after them.
