I can see it being very late next year, or possibly even later. The release of the final book is like closing the gate on Harry and it solidifies the end of an era, as it were. JK Rowling has said that she is in no hurry to release the book as she is dreading saying goodbye. To be honest, I dread it too. | |

i realy think by x-mas 2007, but i wish that she would keep on going through harrys adult life, and keep writing.and u no wut else i dont like? they are gunna stop the movies at #5 cuz theres kissing in the 6th book! i mean thats kinda stupid,but thats my opinion.  | |

Well my money's also on Summer 2007 but it might be later. To be honest I think that JK is perfectly normal to be afraid of letting go of that character that she has had since 1997. Also, Felicity, I don't think they'll stop the movies. They'll probably just raise the rating or cut the kissing or just tone it down a bit because kid's movies have kissing scenes occasionally. | |

I think she'll be done by Spring 2007. I don't reckon we're gunna see it before Christmas 2007, though. Especially since Order of the Phoenix is releasing on July 13th and she said just the other day that she's not close to finishing it. To have it out by next Summer, she'd need to be done by Christmas this year. Quote: |

I cant see it coming out next Christmas, I mean, she's been working on this book for a year and a half! And if she's already upto 750 pages, then i can deinately see Book 7 coming out on, or later than Christmas at the least, but I dont think she'll release it after Winter, 2007. | |

I think it'll be released sometime in Summer 2007. But I might just be being hopeful. If not by Summer 2007...maybe by Summer 2008. But I don't think she'll release it in winter, maybe fall though.
