Hi I like the Uk childern edition with harry looking good as a youth! not a child. I love how the colours are similar to chamber of secerts cover! Perhaps Slytherin is the half-blood prince after all!
I think the pensive is going ot reveil some of Lilly Potter's secerts and we are going to see why snape is so trusted by are beloved headmaster. I think that it was he who told are headmaster that Voldy was after the Potters because of his life debt! so Harry owns his life to Snape but Harry got all the credit for removing Voldy! poor Snape! it is becoming clearer now I think i am going to cry as it is nealry over! only one more book to go after HBP! Nooooooooooooooo!

I like the U.S. version because of the colors on it. The UK Child version looks pretty cool.

I like the US version the best, I guess it's because it's the one i'm used too, I don't like the colors on the UK child, and the UK adult, like others have said, it doesn't look Harry Potter to me, and I guess that the reason for it. Anyway, i'm gettin the US version, since it's the english version we get here, unless I wait for the spanish, which i just think I can't wait that long for it. Besides I like to read them in english.

I LOVE the American version! For one, green and purple is one of the best color combinations, absolutely beautiful! And I love the cursive writing for "Half-Blood Prince," the only downside is that it's much plainer than the other 5, it's looks more like the British ones than the others have. But usually, she has art on the back and the inside jacket flaps, so maybe we'll get more.

I was just thinking, if the book is old and worn for the Adult UK, it's probaly Ron's! So, maybe he's in Advanced Potions!

I like the UK child's edition best... Mary Grandpre's art seems very cartoony... and a bit OTT, if you see what I mean...

I like the UK Kids cover best, it gives me a clue to what happens inside the book, I mean, the US cover is mysterious but I like action scenes best, and Dumbledore and Harry standing side by side in battle rigth to the end really says something about the relationship between these characters. I have a feeling we are going to lose Dumbledore, but that is a whole other topic entirely.

Oh I love them all!!
We get the UK editions in Canada though so Thats what I will be going with!
I think there is something different revealed by each cover.
I'm going with the "pensieve" theory for the US version ,I think It is going to be used to show Harry an awfull lot about his family, especially Lily.
My favorite is the UK Childrens because I think it Gives the most insight, I'm thinking there will be a big battle and I believe that the cover shows harry and dumbledore fighting in this battle.
The Uk Adult makes me think Harry passed his OWL in potions so of course in continuing with it, but there has to be more to it,there has to be some kind of connection and perhaps the book belongs to the HBP !
oh so much to think about.....I can not wait 127 more days!! ugh!

I personally love the US cover. I like the colors 2!!! I did this when I seen it I was so amazed it turned out to be a more impressive cover then what I thought it would be well of course I knew it would be great. Now I'm even more anxious to read it!!! The HBP book comes out on my moms birthday!!! NO LIE!!! she's turning 34.

I voted for the US children's because to me that looks the most realistic and dramatic, and the colors are perfectly blended with light and dark elements to create that dramatic effect... I'm sounding too much like an art critic .... And is it just me or does Dumbledore look like he is really hyper on caffiene or something in the UK children's version??

US version BABY!i love Grand Pre's art is amazing. i love the way she keeps it a little less realistic, i mean HP is a little less realistic. and the UK children's version, i think, looks a little Lost Years of Merlin-dy

I like all of the covers, but since I've grown used to and rather fond of the US ones, that is the one that I perefer. Besides the fact that the colors used are always magnificent and she incorporates them well into her illustrations. I agree with some people here who said they didn't like the colors for the UK version. And to me it's not about how realistic it looks but how well it fits the way you imagine the character. I love the way Mary GrandPré uses colors for emphasis...the OotP one was very good, because it was all blue, as opposed to the two-tones that were the previous covers. Of course, it also had silver, but that I consider to be more or less just a back tone, rather than part of the illustration....anyway I'm rambling....I like the covers.
