| Which HBP cover? Which of the revealed Half-Blood Prince covers do you like the best?

Hogwarts RPG Name: Marcella Riddle Graduated | I definitely prefer the UK to US. The art seems more realistic, less cartoony. I am tempted to buy the Adult one, as I am very near being an Adult now but for the sake of keeping continuity with my current collection, I'll be buying the UK child one.

| I like the US cover the best. Actually, it's the only one I think, is available in our local bookstore, so... Also I like miss Grand-Pré's illustrations. |

| The funny thing is I will probably be buying the UK adult one and the US one since that's what I have in my collection!
I should get the childrens one too but maybe I will when they go on sale (like they always do after a year or so). |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Marcella Riddle Graduated | I like the way Jason (UK) doesn't move the scar despite the films having placed it on the side of Harry's head. Because I don't think Jo ever confirmed where it actually lies.
8 years since this all started, almost brings a tear to ones eye LOL |

| ^ 8 years already? o_o
I voted the US one because that's the one I liked when I first saw them, the colour is really nice. But now, after looking at them fo a while, I really can't choose >.<
The colour in the UK childrens one isn't er..very nice. The green and the orange looks weird, but I'll probably end up getting that one. I like the adult cover, but...it just doesn't feel HP-ish to me |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Marcella Riddle Graduated | Yeah, since 1997 when PS was first released. I was but a wee 10 year old then.
The only thing I don't like is as Rovie said, the colour combination. I like the UK image but the green and blue is bleurgh. Plus, it's indentical to CoS!
All the Adult covers are like that. They have a sort of disjointed, unattached sort of feeling. Isolated is probably the word I'm looking for. But then they are designed for adults who are embarassed and who want to look like they're reading a serious novel rather than Harry Potter. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Raymond Luxury-Yacht (but it's pronounced Throatwobbler Mangrove) Third | I like the US version best, but the UK children's version definitely has more action. Since two out of three covers feature the color green in some way, I wonder how it will be approached in the story. I'm thinking Lily's eyes or more Slytherin stuff. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Azzariah Graduated | I like the UK child one in which Harry doesn't look like a child at all. *gives hope that they'll keep the original cast no matter what age they are.* I know it has no bearing on that at all but a person can hope can't they. I am an adult well people say that I am though I am of different mind and I want to get the uk one but can't have to get the US one. |

| I like the UK versions better...not that I don't like the US versions I just prefer the UK versions simply because the art work is more realistic!!! plus the books originated in the UK...not that it has any significance what so ever, I just bought the first book in the UK version and now all my books are in the UK version...but when all books are done I am going to get both UK and US versions!!! |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Daciana Tudor First | Honestly i dont mind about how Harry looks now at the UK child version. i mean he is growing up...anyways...i was wondering about the adult version cover..it shows a tatted Advance Potion Making book...does that mean the Half Blood Prince could be a potion lover (Snape?) or a potion making hater(Neville?)?? |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Marcella Riddle Graduated | We have to wait till July, not June.
I'd say it belonged to someone a while ago after all, it is tattered and torn. |

| I like the US one better. The UK child's one, looks well like it's for a child. (which is what they're going for) The UK adult one just doesn't say Harry Potter magic to me. It looks more like an Anne Rice cover. Errrrm meaning I just don't see the magic. |

| I think that's a part of the point. The adult is 'dulled' down so that when people see the cover, they don't think of it as Harry Potter - the kids thing but rather Harry Potter that looks rather adult. |

| And another thing...none of the other cover would match the previous US covers. (doesn't know what the UK covers of the previous books look like) So for my collection the US one is the right fit. |

I really like the illastrations in the UK version, but I love the way Mary Grand Pre draws Harry and how she uses color! |

| ^ Same here. The eerieness of the Pensieve is really strong with the green, and I like that Harry better... plus, I hate the colour combination of the UK one. But they use the UK cover for the Canadian ones *sigh* And I don't want to mess up my set lol. Although OotP is the only one that actually belongs to me.
The adult one is only interesting to me because it's Potions-related |

| HP is such an imaginative story that her (imaginative) illustrations play a big part for me. All I hope for is she continues putting illustrations with each chapter because they are the best and get me super excited on what the picture means....and it keeps me reading more. I think they are all great, but I do prefer the US art.... |
