| LOVED IT! I thought it was "darker" than the others but that was appropriate for this particular book..............CAN'T WAIT for Order of the Phoenix! |

| Excellent Movie! The movie was really good, but I was a little disappointed that they couldn't fit more into it. There was a lot of really good stuff in the book that got left out of the movie...I know, though, that they couldn't put everything in...the movie would've been like five hours long. I just thought that some of the things went by really quick, I mean there were supposed to be like a month and half, two months before the tournament began...then there were three months between each task...where did all the time go. It makes me kind of sad to know that they will have to do the same thing with the Order of the Pheonix movie.
Either way I'm sure it will be a pretty good movie...after all even cutting out so much they managed to make the Goblet of Fire an excellent movie. They definitely got all the important details of the movie to fit quite well together. I hope the arrangement of the next is just as good. Though there are a few scenes from the OotP that I really hope end up in the movie. Like the one where Harry and, was it Fred or George, clobbered Malfoy after they won the quidditch match. |

But there were some things I'd enjoyed seeing that were from the books (that weren't in the movie) Like Fred and George's Ton-Tongue Toffees. Or when Dobby gives Harry the gillyweed. AND WHERE WAS WINKY?
OMFG!
They didn't include the part where Hermione captured Skeeter in her animagus form! |

| | | Good but like has been comented they left too much out. No dobby, no winky no charlie, no ton tongue tofee no triwizard winnings (how will fred and george start their joke shop) and they missed out Sirius and Snape glaring at each other over Harry's bed! but on the whole a good film | |

They didn't include the part where Hermione captured Skeeter in her animagus form! | Exactly...I mean the movie was absolutely amazing from the stand point of those who have never read the books...But Winky's part was completely left out and so was the story of Barty Crouch's escape from Azkaban...how he ended up free to rejoin Voldemort and why his dad ended up acting all weird and being killed...I don't even think they ever mentioned the fact that he was under the Imperius Curse the whole time until his death...killed by his own son. And the fact that they left out the brilliant capture of Rita Skeeter kind of upset me...I thought that part of the book was really funny and Goblet of Fire could have used that little bit of comic relief at the end. It also makes me wonder what they're going to do in the next movie about the article she's supposed to write about Harry side of the story for the Quibbler. Because they can't make it look like she does it willingly...she would never be able to resist embellishing the whole thing to make Harry look mad and it would be published in the Prophet then, not the Quibbler....There are just some things that were left out that I think might give them a hard time with the upcoming Order of the Pheonix movie. |

The movies are screwing with the books. WarnerBros. are so full of crap. They say HarryPotter can't be 3 hours long, right? And yet LotR is over 3 hours! And their only explaination is that "Lord of the Rings is more down to earth and based on ancient earth" or something like that. |

These stories are too good to be skimped on the way they did with the Goblet of Fire. I will be greatly disappointed if The Order of the Pheonix is treated the same way, because while there were some things that could be safely cut out of the Goblet of Fire without too badly demolishing the story...the Order is chock full of things that I don't think can be safely cut out without ruining the story. Almost everything that happens is pertinent to the story and the chain of events taking place. I just hope they do a better job with it. |

| The film was wicked! However, I am disappointed that some things were omitted. I could've sat through a six-hour long movie. I mean, I sat threw all twelve hours of the Lord of the Rings special on Stars, so that should've been easy.
