Obviously, SS has a completely new layout. I personally think it's gorgeous and whoever designed it should win some kind of award, but there's some bad things about it too. Like, for the past fiveish months, SS has been kind of like a second home. I could just come here if I was sick or having a bad day and everyone here was lovely. So I miss the old layout because I felt more connected to it. But other than that, it's great- especially the homepage. When I saw that I was like: gorgeousness on a whole other level!

What do you all think of it?

Love the new lay-out. Just like the change last year, it would take a lot of getting used to, but SS is like a second home (same for me), a little change is always good.

it's fabulous. i love it. though as you guys said, it'd take some time to get used to it. ss is like a second home for me too. but the layout is absolutely lovely!

The 'change' last time was to do with the server. What's changed atm is just the deisgn of the front page and forums; nowhere near as major.

I love it. But I'm biased.

Eventually there will be other skins for the forums too.

A sign of things to come

Yeah i kind of like it...but then the old layout was more like cozy corner for chatting-like my favourite chair or something....i liked it even more....
It'll take some time to get used to it i guess!

I love this lay-out, it's great.

I really like the new layout. Props to who ever is responsible.

I just think that it would be awesome to add different colors, the green layout had been here a long time it's nice to have something different to look at now. Besides this layout reminds me of the old SS.

I luv this new layout. It's great! And the forums skins too! I would like too see a GoF image instead of that HBP cover one...

the new layout is amazing its much more pleasing to look at. thats just me, i like dark colors, great job whoever made it

I LOVE the new Lay-Out. The blue and blackish you know, the darkness colors. They're just totally awesomeistical. I lurff 'em. I hope it stays for a while.

at 1st i was a tad bit surprised cuz i was used 2 the classic SS! but i like it it s abit more darker like black and navy bule! but its not bad!!!!!!!! ***GLOMP***!!!!!!! LOLZ

I like the new layout but at first I was a suprise when i got on but i have got use to it. I honestly think that ss lookes better with the new layout.

yea.. i was really surprised when it was black and blue, i kinda miss the old one, but this one looks great!

I know what you mean, it's all dark and gloomy. That's why I miss the old one, it was so cheery, but the homepage... well, I'm lost for words it's so good.

Anyone know who designed it?

I really like the home page they did a great job… it looks more “professional” or something now. And that icky green was getting a bit annoying, it will take a bit of getting used to though, but seeing as how I am on here like all the time it will come fast.
