| | | I read in an article that the Director of PoA (not even going to attempt spelling) said that the QUidditch Uniforms would be darker, to fit in more with the new atmosphere. So I thought Oooh, can't wait to see this!!! So I stumbled across this and was so pleased.
But the first thing I thought was that Harry looked like he could be batman's newest sidekick.
Thoughts anyone? Kei | |

| I don't like 'em. The goggles look retarded. I guess the rest is ok. . I think they could have just kept the old ones though. |

| | | I have to agree, the goggles look retarded. When I first looked at it, just this pic makes dan look about 10 years older, but it's probably just me. Anyway, I'm really hoping that this pic came off of the game against hufflepuff, when like nobody could see, and that they only wear these stupid goggles during that game...... | |

| | | I'm going to make the assumption that the goggles are only for harry on account of his glasses.. maybe that's supposed to be that charm that hermione does to make the water stay off his glasses. Lay off Cuaron, this is supposed to be the best movie yet, and the atmosphere is to supposed to capture almost exactly the atmosphere in the book. | |

| Yeah, so the uniforms look different. Who cares? Novels are supposed to be interpreted in different ways, and people are supposed to picture things differently. The new director and/or costume designer probably imagined the scene this way, so they decided to film it as such. It's part of their job to use their imaginations! However, after my little rightous-freedom-of-ideas speal, I agree that the goggles are a bit--um--awkward. But, as someone mentioned before, they could be useful in the stormy Quidditch match or to protect his glasses. We'll just have to see what it's all about! |

| Maybe those goggles arent a permanet fixture of the uniform? Their probably juss their because its raining, yes they do look ridiculous but hey, watcha gonna do? Theyre part of the raining scene, even though, if i remember correctly, Harry gets his glasses water repelant but whatever. Its nothing to freak out over. I did like the old ones, but nothing lasts forever. :/ |

| I agree with the kidds that think the googles are worthless....
they make me think of those saftey glasses/goggles kidds uses to wear when they were younger for soccer.
you guys ever see that Simpsons episode with Radioactive Man and the "Real Acid?!" and when he says "The goggles do nothing!" yeah well anyway, it's sorta like that in quidditch.... :/ |

| Yeah I must agree you can't really see the uniforms... i think the old ones were better... but its just the qudditch uniforms... its not like the whole movie is centered on what they wear... i think it will be great movie no matter what the uniforms look like! |

Hogwarts RPG Name: William Quinn Third | Quit ragging on the goggles. I'm like 99% sure they were because of the weather. You really can't see with rain flying in your eyes. Other than that I liked them. |

Something Chris Colombus never thought of were the numbers, and their importance to a commentator...how can u tell who is who with that speed and distance!?
The goggles were obiously weather-requiered. |

| The numbers are a nice touch... and Harry is number 7 .. wonder if there's any connection..
The goggles are necessary in that scene as the weather is so atrocious. I think they work well.
But for the Dan lovers I guess he does look a bit goofy... still you can stare at him minus the goggles for the rest of the film... |
