Hogwarts RPG Name: William Quinn Third | Is it just me or does Michael Gambon sound like Captain JeanLuc Picard(Patrick Stewart, also Proffesor X) in the new trailer? |

| I don't know and for some reason, trailers haven't being playing in any movie I've gone to see for a while, or on television. I think he looks like Dumbledore, except for the hair... |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Isabella Thompson First | They wont come on TV for a while, not until it is closer to the release date. And the hair is a bit shorter than Richard Harris had it but it doesnt take the magic away from Dumbldore's character |

| In all honesty I like Michael Gambon, he was awesome as Gandalf, so I hope he'll be awesome as Dumbledore as well |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Isabella Thompson First | Yeah he wasnt Gandalf. Personally I think he looks great as Dumbledore, sure he is different compared to Richard Hariss but I dont think he will be a bad Dumbledore. |

| THE NEW DUMBLEDORE is just fantastic, he looks great and he can act real swell. i think that he's the best actor in the film cos no-one else can act - with the exception of the adults (maggie smith, john cleese, robbie cultrain, alan rickman etc etc etc). The new dumbledore is so amazing and stuff fully - i know we should all make an OFFICIAL michael gambon club YAY! and we can swap stories and sing songs! |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Isabella Thompson First | Yeah he is great but you cant deny that some of the kids can act. I mean they have imporved alot. Also Richard Hariss was a bit better than Gambon I think but Gambon is still amazing |

| | | i think the new dumbledore sucks. the old dumbledore (richard harris ) was exactly what i imagined dumbledore to be like, the spitting image. it ruins it changing dumbledore and i was really sad when richard harris died. | |

| From what I've seen they've done a really good job trying to keep the continuity of the two dumbledores - they seem pretty alike. Not complete copies, but alike. And that's the best we can hope for.
Sigh, poor Richard Harris. May he rest in peace. |

| I'm really grateful for the new Dumbledore. Richard Harris was just so...frail. Gambon seems to bring that certain vitality Dumbledore is supposed to have. I mean, when I looked at Richard Harris as Dumbledore I always thought "My, he is old!" I certainly don't feel that way when I look at Gambon. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: William Quinn Third | I'm sure he's a very good actor, I just think his voice doesn't fit the role the way Harris' did. |

| from the trailers i've seen i think the new dumbledore is pretty good. and i agree he did do a very good job as gandalf in lotr. granted i would have preferred the actors didn't change but there was nothing that could've been done with that role. however, i can't think of anyone better to fill the role. |
