Just thought I would post these there interesting... and I was wondering did you notcie them?

Revealing mistakes: In opening scene in Harry's bedroom, it can be seen in one shot that Harry is lying on a sheet of glass (to allow magical lighting effect) rather than on a sheet.

Continuity: When Dudley is watching television, he is watching "Generation Game, The" (1971). We see a contestant put some headphones on, and in the next shot we see the same clip.

Continuity: At the end of the scene where the class have been dealing with the Boggart, the shot has been flipped and Harry's scar switches sides.

I noticed the Scar one only because Tonks07 asked me to watch out for it because he thought he saw it... so i did and long and behold it was... didn't notice the two other ones though... :/ I'll have to go watch the movie again...

wow..i noticed the glass/magic thing in the opening scene, but i didnt notice the tv thing, nor the scar switch

I saw two mistakes with Hermione:

When they travel back (Harry and Hermy), Emma's double has longer, straighter hair than she does, and the punch is off to the side rather than straightforward.

yeah, I noticed the scar switching sides, I'll have to pay attention to the others next time I see it

here a kinda mistake i noticed, well you know how everyones now in like "muggle clothes" well, where did harry get his clothes? cause all his clothes are supposed handmedowns from dudley and i doubt in the diagon alley would sell muggle clothes plus harry cant go buy any of his own cause his got the wizarding money..yes ive thought this one through, any comments?

I kind of noticed the Hermione-punch scene, but nothing else...Of coarse that might have been because I have poor eyesight, and wasn't wearing my glasses at the time...oh well, they did their best; it can't be perfect! :sorcerer:

Well, there's one thing I noticed, and correct me if I'm wrong, but in this one scene when Harry is looking down at everbody from the clocktower when they go to Hogsmeade. And later in the movie, the camera zooms into the clocktower and there are all these machine-like things behind it. How did Harry get through those machine-like things? I dunno, maybe it was a different clock, but still. Did anyone else notice that?

i didnt get how harry could practice magic in the opening scene where he's under the covers when underage wizards cant use magic outside of school.

The reason his scar switched is because remeber the mirror? The cabinet thingy had a mirror on it. So in the shots, they would switch from looking at the class in the mirror, to looking at the class just through the camera. I thought it was quite clever... :sorcerer:

Something I noticed:
~ The geography of Hogwarts changed. Hagrid's hut is on the other side and all the way down a cliff. The whomping willow is also over a cliff. There were a lot of bridges and other things that just popped up. But who knows? Maybe they renovated Hogwarts over the summer.

Everyone probably noticed that. :unsure:

this ain't really a mistake but...

in the trailer when Draco blows that paper thingy over to Harry, his hands weren't postioned the same as when he does it in the movie. *snort* i notice the stupidest things.

i like the trailer one better, tho. lol.

In the boggart scene Harry's scar is on the LEFT side of his head.

i noticed alot of them, like the one with Hermione punching Malfoy thing. Her arm is up in one and down in the other.

the jar breaking in Hagrid's hut.

and just to note
- The reason Hermione punched Malfoy to the side rather then straight ahead is because it was a stage punch, thats how they are thrown. if it was striaght ahead then she would've most likly hit him and we dont want Tom to have a black eye now do we?

This is actually what Hogwarts is meant to be like. Hogwarts is huge and Columbus didnt exand it in the first two movies. Alfonso got the scenery right. So this isnt really a mistake

hey i found another one! yeah, and its not on that enormous list! ok,
when harry and ron and hermy are in hagrids hut and are getting out, dumbledore stops mcnair and fudge to look at the mountains or whatnot so the trio sneak behind the pumpkins
then when they travel back in time and are back to that scene, the past hermione and harry and ron sneak out the same time dumbledore and co. are coming in..they dont look at the mountains, but when the er..future harry and hermy are getting buckbeak, dumbledore and co. stop to lok at the mountains

to sum it up, its like the same thing, but in the wrong place

If my eyes weren't deceiving me, Moony is spelt Mooney on the Marauders Map!!!Look closely at it and don't blink.And you know the scene before Lupin turns into a werewolf?Sirius was telling Harry how he felt when he got into Hogwarts.Ron and Hermione was behind Harry.The shot where Sirius was facing the castle, you can see the moonlight in the sky and then suddenly Hermione said,"Harry,look!" or something, Harry turned around and the moon was behind the clouds near the mountain he was facing his back to when he was talking to Sirius!Where did the light in the sky from the 'Sirius-looking-at-the-castle' scene come from?

The first time that the trio are hiding behind the pumpkin patch Hermione turns around when she see's her future self hidden in the bushes. This means that the original time we saw the trio future Harry and Hermione exsisted.
However, when Hermione punches Draco, Harry and Hermione are watching from the enterance of Hogwarts. The first time we see it, there is no Harry and Hermione watching and you can clearly see the enterance over Ron's shoulder.
It get's confusing
Also in the time turner scene, things happen a lot more faster then originally. When the group leaves the whomping willow Hermione comforts Ron for a long time when Sirius and Harry chat, then Lupin and Pettigrew come and Lupin turns into a werewolf. However, second time around they seem themselves come out and about ten seconds pass as Lupin's a werewolf.

I don't really notice the mistakes because when you try hard to spot mistakes, it takes away the magic of the movie. Just enjoy it and ignore the mistakes!

That is so the scene doesnt go on for way to long, it isnt really a mistake

The Biggest mistake im sure everyone notice was the end with the Firebolt. Argh Why why did they do that!! Argh.

Yes, I totally agree with this statement. Ron is a wizard, so how would he even get muggle clothes, and Harry's clothes would be really baggy.
