But everytime some1 says something bout the eyes then OMG there are green

Well I dont think we need to worry about it for at least the next two movies, cause nothing is mentioned in those books.

It doesn't really bother me now because so far it's just a rumor that the color of Harrys' eyes have a real relivance to the plot, but if in one of the next two books Harry's green eyes become more important - Daniel better suck it up and wear the contacts! lol. I hope in the fifth movie they make the girl who plays Lily have blue eyes so at least Harry will still have his mother's eyes.

They'd have to make his mom have Harry's eyes if they're going to stay consistant... btw, what color were his mom's eyes in movie 1? It was so dark I couldn't tell. Anyways, they gotta have his mom have blue eyes else you can't say he has his mother's eyes when they're obviously a different color. Bleh!

Contacts do hurt! No joke... I don't wear glasses I just wanted a different color so yea..

But the thing is he wore contacts and was allergic. So they have no choice but to do it digitally when or if the time comes when it's necessary.

Yeah exactly, you wouldnt wanna wear them if they irritated your eyes. It can cause lots of problems.

I agree-I would never make any of the actors do anything that physically hurt them. Even though it would be excellent if he could wear the contacts or have eyes that actually were green, digital effects, when needed, or just simply leaving them blue, which really isn't that far from green anyway, is good enough for me.

Wel, contacts arn't that bad. I mean, when you first get them yeah they're anoying- ONLY uz you're not used to them. But, with in three days or less (well for me at least) you get ussed to them and you don't even feel them. I think Harry should've had green eyes... didn't he have green eyes in CoS? or did he have blue...

But it is different with different people. Some people get used to them really easily and some dont. Some can get really irritated eyes from them so its different. In Dan'scase he couldnt wear them because they irritated his eyes. And no in al the movies he has had blue eyes.

^^^right it is different with different people. With me I think it was just the feeling of the liquid and the actually contact in my eye that made it so irritating. I never gave it a chance afterwards lol whops. Its a feeling un-describe-able like whoa!! So yeah... lol

If in the future books Harrys eyes are really important, than they should digitalize Dans eyes when filming...

Well in the books that we have at the moment nothing has been said about his eyes or the colour of them. I know that JK has given hints about the colour of his eyes and the importancy of them but they will only have to concentrate on changing the colour of his eyes in the 6th and 7th movies and who knows if they are going to be made.

his eys r sposed to b green but if ccontacts bother u don wear em!!! i love mine but iz diff for everybody ya kno? ii dont realy pay attention to his eys in the movie so i didnt notice if tey were the wrong colour

I saw the movie 3 times and i didnt really notice them saying much about harrys eyes. i mean JK Rowling is just probley trying to get across a REALLY big hint, since all her hints are useally small, and easy to skip over. any ways, whats wrong with being complamented about your eyes, especialy when there your mothers!

What I have heard to far, that in book six and sever there will be alot moreo harry's eyes looks like his mother, I bet ther is gonna be a big "Ahhh" or "Ohhh!" when we find out what it has to do with him

Yeah but she obviously knows that nothing is important in the first five books otherwise she would have made them change it in the first three movies.

OMGarsh I noticed that too.. they always annoyed me i was like OKAY GET OVEER IT. ... jeez.. lol bu i used to have this thingy (My comp. got SOOOOOOOOOOO slow) that made like everything on my comp. Harry Potter.. lol im a dork .. bu they had all pictures from the movies.. nd like in some of them he had BLUE eyes.. MANN i wish i had the pic.. wait let me look for it h.o AHAHHAHAHAHAHA i found some look CLOSELY to these (there from google so DONT worry im not tryingto give u viruses!! lol)

To me it's kind of a big deal that his eyes should be green. But I agree that Dan should not be forced to wear contacts if it could damage his eyes permenatly. They need to do it as much as possible digitally though.

i dont mind...i mean if its going to affect dan's eyes, its best he just keeps his natural colour....but then again...it is kind of weird with it pointed out so many times in the book about his green eyes, but in the movie they're not...but oh well...you can never make the movie exactly like the book....hahahaha....i keep laughing when "Lily's Eyez" is mentioned *checks user name*.....keep thinkin they're talking about me :S
