hey everyone i think i have the answer! ok, movies take more than one camera to film at a time, right? and notice how the small orange thing almost "follows" filch's lantern...i think its a reflection of the lantern from another camera... | |

well right now i am watching the movie and it had just past that part of the movie you were talking about and i was watching it very cleary. i saw it...it does looks like legs and im wondering if it is part of the movie or not.
it's very small and clear but then to me it kinda looks like it does belong in the movie, it kinda looks computer animated but then i am not sure it kinda freaked me out when i saw it.
i am behind you all the way on this topic becuz i know what you mean and i know what you had seen.
you people should see the movie again and really watch that part where they are in the great hall all in sleeping bags...i wonder how i miss something like that, all i can say is just check it out for yourself and see what you think about it! | |

It might be kinda like the giraffe that walks through the scene evry now and then, just smaller. I agree...it's Hogwarts! At first I thought it might be a house elf, but it doesn't sound like it, but a house elf would have two legs and be small. | |

Good eye! I haven't seen it yet-- though I've rented the movie from Blockbuster and am going to watch it again soon! Quite disturbing..... I like disturbing, though. Maybe it was a ghost, a real ghost though, and it was on the floor below, and it really was the ghost of the guy who played Dumbledore at first, but then died of cancer! Maybe he's a friendly ghost who haunts the set and makes sure nothing bad happens! That'd be cool........ | |

that is so weird. i checked it out just now and do u know what i saw? i saw a shadow outside of the GH, but no one was there. i dont know whether that was a movie goof or that was real or im just a weird little emothic (emo+goth) girl. am i the only one who saw this? i feel so alone on this. (sorry if im acting 2weird.) i swear.
once there was an ugly barnacle. he was so ugly, everyone died. the end.
