Sillvia Sian Londale Environmental Protection | Sometimes you've got to be crazy, to be sane! ;-)♥♥ Hehe, it's not a very long story, but nevermind
I first heard about it at school. People all around me were talking about the lastest release of the Half-blood Prince film. I decided to go to the libary and see for myself what I thought. My friends also helped by lending my the books when the libary did not have them. Soon after reading the first one I realise I was obsesed with it I couldn't stop reading them and then I had read all the books within the next month. That is practically my story and it happened perhaps a year and a hlaf ago LONG LIVE HARRY POTTER!

I like the world of HP because of my sweet son who at the age of 6, decided he wanted to watch a marathon of all the movies. We spent 4 days and actually watched every movie. I really got into the movies with him and we spend so much time talking about the whole plot line and characters. We actually run around the house quoting things from the movies. It was sharing with my son, that made me really LIKE the world of HP!

Hogwarts RPG Name: Minnie Malfoy | I started loving the world of Harry Potter pretty much because of Draco Malfoy. I had read all of the Harry Potter books, and I thought they were good, but I never really loved them. Then, my friend took me to watch The Deathly Hallows Part 1, even before I watched any of the other ones. THIS PART IS SUPER SLYTHERIN IMPORTANT!!! We went to watch it at the midninght premiere (not saying where!!). And I met Tom Felton, aka Draco Malfoy. I got his autograph, a picture of him giving me a hug, and a picture of just him. He was pretty nice to me. My poor friend didn't get to have a picture with him because the movie was starting. So, obviously, I love Harry Potter- or, rather, Draco Malfoy- now. <3

Hogwarts RPG Name: Megara Kostas First Year | I used to hate Harry Potter because my family used to drag me to see the films and make me watch them every Christmas and I would of prefered a Disney film if I'm honest. But, then I became old enough to read the books on my own and I fell in love with the magic and the way the books can take you to a different world. You can completley emerge yourself and forget about life for a while. JK is a legend. |

The books are absolutely amazing, for starters. Jo Rowling is my inspiration. They're so clever and well-written.
I also am in love with the HP fandom. The fans are so dedicated and connected, and it's lovely.

I've liked it ever since the first book came out, to be honest. The whole magical world thing is what drew me in. I've always loved fantasy books. Since then my love, and obsession for it has grown. Then in year 9/10 (so 3/4 years ago) my friend got me into reading all the fanfictions, and my best friend is about as obsessed about HP as me xD

I read the Philosipher's Stone after watching the film and quickly swallowed up the rest of the series available. Then GOF when it came out, the OOTP, then HBP and then Deathly Hallows.
Because I saw the film first, I've always imagined Harry as Daniel Radcliff, which is just a random bit of trivia for you.
I love the books because I can re-read them and still enjoy them like the first time. We have the fifth one on cd which we listen to in the kitchen whilst cooking, or eating or making tea and I can quote it from the start to the end of the cd, and yet I still love it. I think that Harry Potter will live on past the films and in about twenty years time, it will still be well known and loved.
The fanfiction also helps to keep the love alive, especially Next Generation ff. |

I came to love the world of Harry Potter vis-a-vis my nephew. He loved to brag that he knows ALL the spells, and we always laughed at him, when he got his wand. I remember we were raking leaves one autumn day, and we raked a huge pile together, when my nephew jokingly said, "Wingardium Leviosa"--and with that, a gust of wind came, and moved the leaves. The surprised look on his face was priceless!!
I also love the way J K blends old/new worlds together, with the architecture and clothes. It's a great world to escape to and have fun. She really has a fantastic imagination. |

Films first, then the books.
Loved every second of watching, and then every second of reading...
They're a sanctuary, a place to escape to. If I ever felt down, or needed a pick-me-up, Harry Potter would be the thing I went to. I still do, in fact; only last night did I have my head nose deep into Half-Blood Prince, following Harry and Dumbledore into the Cave, the inferi wallowing beneath the lake's glass-like surface.
I'll always remember that scene from the film, where the inferi grabs Harry's foot. Everyone in the cinema jumped, including myself; popcorn went everywhere. Ahaa, memories are formed from HP movie-marathons and cinema ventures. The day of Deathly Hallows Part 1 came to an end with a rather odd game of Just Dance on the Wii... xD
I honestly couldn't live without what J.K has given us.
The meaning of love and friendship all wrapped up in one big ball of book. (:
HP FTW.

Damell Luthorn | Now that i have read the harry potter series i can easily understand meanings and the storyline i never understood it when i was younger.
but when i start reading the HP books it just takes me to another world i can imagine it so easily. the way that J.K has written it is inspirational it makes sense it has just a magical storyline where every time you turn the page an adventure starts and you know something amazing is going to happen. i have to thank my mum and my bother for bringing it home from the shops and finally talking me into reading the books. |

When I was about 6-7 I started reading them. My sister had read a part of Prisoner of Azkaban when it first came out and she bought the first book which is how I started reading it. I've read all the books multiple times and I love them to death! Harry Potter offers EVERYTHING about growing up even if it is a world of fantasy. I could still relate to the emotions the characters were feeling. It's safe to say that Harry Potter was one of my best friends.

The world of Harry Potter is a great place to escape to. Any time I read a book or watch a movie I am transported there (even though the book takes me further away.)

This is quite funny.
My friend, who is a Ginny- lover, first showed me the Hillywoodshow parodies of Twilight and told me EVERYTHING about Twilight. I was ashamed of loving Twilight because I thought it was too "girly". I told her that I loved Twilight but I would always think that both Robert Pattinson and Edward Cullen was very ugly. Then I saw New Moon and Fellinger in love with Edward, still promising that I'll never think that Robert is cute. Then I read the books and watched the films over and over. I completely fell in love with Robert! Then another friend told me about Tobert as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the GOF. I emediately I asked Miss Ginny, the first friend, to watched the movie with me. This was a year after HBP came out. We watched it and I was totally drewling over Robert and then Miss Ginny completely ruined it all by telling me that Cedric would die in the end. When "the end" came I cried alot more than Cho. Then I started watching the movies and ordered Cedrics wand. I wrote down ALL the spells and We started playing Harry Potter in school. It's so funny that someone in Harry Potter has the same name as me, Daphne Greengrass! Now I'm reading the books and I'm a total Potter- fan! I still love Twilight though. I think you can like both. There almost the same!
Funny I never hold on to my promises!

| What's not to like? The series is amazingly written, the story line, character background and the way the all come together is so complex, it will be difficult to ever get a plot so well thought out. |

I like Harry Potter because it was my very first serise to read about and also because the books had made me into a big reader.
I became a fan by reading the fifth book. Which I loved. Sort of.
I became a fan since I was in grade 7. Happens to be about 4 years from now.

I love Harry Potter because it was creative and new. I grew up with Harry and his wonderful adventures, but I loved that all the books lead up to a very large plot. I loved all of the characters and I was so sad when some of them died! Honestly, what isn't to love?

I became involved with Harry Potter through my fifth grade teacher; she would read the book to the class during story time and I just fell in love with it. My god, when I think about how long ago that was... Time really does fly.
