Which Harry Potter film is your favorite? And why?

i like the deathly hallows part 1 the most because it's the one thats most similar to the book the rest r like completely different stories

I really like Sirius and Harry's relationship in the movies, butI also like all of the different teachers at Hogwarts and what they can decide to do to teach the class new ways of Defence Against the Dark Arts. But I habsolutely hated Umbridge and in Half-Blood Prince, Snapes girly hair got in the of how I perceived the movie.

It's a close tie between Goblet of Fire and the Deathly Hallows because everything in them were just incredibly well done!

I've liked Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire for a long time. But the latest installment of the awesome series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, simple blew my mind away. I LOVED IT!! I'm pretty sure that Part 2 is going to replace the place of Part 1....
But I do like ALL of the Harry Potter movies. The latest one was just the best.

I like them all, but I have to say that I liked Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 more. I like it better because it is the most recent one and instead of making the whole movie dark and sad they threw in a few funny parts which I enjoyed!

Whichever one I watched most recently is always my favorite Just watched HBP again this weekend and like Vargaroth stated earlier "It has the right amount of action, comedy, romance and horror." Especially love the scene at Slughorn's Christmas party when Hermione is hiding behind the curtains.

Goblet of fire, because there were other schools there than just Hogwarts. And I loved the triwizard tournament + VIKTOR KRUM! <3

I think the 1st 4 movies were the best. starting w/ movie 5, they started to go downhill in terms of story quality

I favored Deathly Hallows Part I, because it had just the right combination of loyalty to the book and creative license that didn't detract from the story. Behind that is probably Order of the Phoenix for the same reason.

I guess it's kind of strange that I chose OotP as my favourite movie as I wasn't that fond of the book, but it seems closest to the book. While I loved DH Part 1 I'm waiting for the climactic Part 2. Also, Dobby dies which upsets me and George (the twins are my favourite) is hurt. I'm already bracing myself for Fred's death.

My favorite Harry Potter film is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 because it has action,and it is magical in every level possible.

My favorite film is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix because it's dark and thrilling with magic and humor as well. But what really makes it stand out for me is the frequent presence of Ralph Fiennes. The more screen time he gets, the better the movie. Gary Oldman as well. Also seeing everyone have a real wizarding battle at the ministry and seeing Dumbledore fight Voldemort was awesome.

So far, the Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite.. I love Sirius and no one dies in this one. Ha!

i love all of the movies but if i had to pick a favorite id have to say either the goblet of fire or deathly hallows part 1 because they are the most similar to the books, and becasue the movies have just gotten progressivley better as technology has advanced

I like Deathly Hallows Pt 1 because, over the course of the movies, the acting has steadily improved so that, in this movie, the acting is the best so far.

I like Deathly Hallows the most because you get to see the main and supporting characters outside of their comfort zones and trying to survive away from the protection of Hogwarts. I think that it also brings a lot more emotion into play when you have all these characters dying left and right, when they've been in all or most of the books/movies.

Simple. Order of the Phoenix. It's my favorite book, and it has semi-large portions of my favorite character (Bellatrix Lestrange) whom is played by my all-time favorite actress Helena Bonham Carter. 'Nuff said.
