Default Which Harry Potter book is your favorite? And why?

Probably the most important question ever; Which is YOUR favorite Harry Potter book and why? Were Harry & Co. just too cute as 11 year olds, making you re-read the first book a zillion times? Or are you a fan of one of the newer books, like Tales of Beedle the Bard or Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them? Let us know! ^____^

<~~ Pride!! Because really... what do YOU have to be proud about? :<3:

Well, I think I already answered this. I also really want to read The Tales Of Beedle The Bard. Haven't been able to find it anywhere though. Is it good?

Deathly Hallows is my favorite bc of all the action, adventure, and romance! And it's not just another year at Hogwarts. They actually know what it's like to be in the real world. Romione forever! <3

The Goblet of Fire is the best because I loved when they brought in Fleur Delacour because she is gorgeous and awesome! And I loved the part with the mermaids!

I couldn't choose because to me, they're all teriffic books. Beautifully written, each one has it's own tale and mini-tales that coincide with the characters and characters past. I just think that they all are perfect as a series of books.

Personally, I liked the Goblet of Fire book. It was the first book that got my attention (I know, how could I have possibly missed the first 3 books?!), and it showed how the students of Hogwarts, mainly the golden trio, started to "blosom" into their teen years. XD
It was kind of cute to watch them roll around in awkwardness. Heehee. And Voldemort returns! All the more exciting!

I really can't choose. I loved them all, but I like Deathly Hallows the most. I like it because it is the end, you find out what happens to voldemort and harry and the whole battle scene in the book was exilerating. When Neville brought them to the room of requirment and everyone was cheering and more and more people came it really felt like I was there too.

Goblet of Fire. Because it was a real thriller for me, things just popped out of nowhere (except for Harry getting the most dangerous dragon, that one I saw coming) BUT HERMIONE AND VICTOR! Did not see that one coming.

I just started reading Prisoner of Azkaban...1 again (for at least the 5th time, probably more). I find it hard to chose a favorite. Each time I read one I discover a new line or something I forgot about pops out again to make me smile.

Definitely Order of the Phoenix, but there are parts in all that I love. If it has Luna or Dobby, its a guaranteed fave

Chamber of Secrets or Prisoner of Azkaban. These books hold so much history and foreshadowing, it's incredible.

At the moment it's Order of the Phoenix, but my favorite of the moment is constantly changing. Mostly I loved years 4-7 because of the darker edge to them; the characters seem to have much more depth. I loved The Tales of Beadle the Bard as well, they are a perfect companion piece to Deathly Hallows. Quidditch Through the Ages is also a fun quick read that provides some added dimension to the game. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was a fun read too, though I mostly enjoyed the sidenotes.

Thumbs up

I chose GoF as my favourite because it was my favourite until DH came out. Once DH hit shelves, though, it really became a toss up. I love all the books...

i liked Deathly Hallows the best because its the last book and you learn what happens to all of the characters at the end.

i haven't read any of the books, but this is only because i really don't like to read. if i did, then i would have most definitely read all of the books.

My favorite book is Deathly Hallows because it is Intense and it is an epic finale. It also answers many questions, and it has deaths and action (who doesn't like all that eh?)

My favorite book is Deathly Hallows because it is a culmination of every single aspect of the previous books with all the same characters (even those who fell by the wayside: Dobby, Griphook, etc.), places (Gringotts, even the Chamber of Secrets), and creatures (spiders, giants, centaurs, house elves). If you read DH thoroughly, you'll see that JKR deliberately included everything from the other adventures into the final book.

I liked half-blood prince because you really get into Snape's character, and it's so interesting.
