What is your favorite Wizarding World supplementary material?
And why?

Now that the Wizarding World has expanded so much, you surely have opinions about which new supplementary material is best! Are you a Fantastic Beasts fan? Is Pottermore your jam? How about Hogwarts Mystery or some of the other, older games? There's so much in the expanded universe of our Wizarding World, so let us know your favorites here! The poll is multiple choice, so if you pick more than one option, be sure to tell us why when you post!
Rules & Guidelines for this thread:
  1. Before posting, please make sure you have read through the Newbie Process, Snitchseeker's Rules & FAQ, and perused the Site Resources forum.
  2. This is not a questions thread. If you don't understand something and/or have a real question, go to The Question Thread.
  3. This is not a discussion thread. Rather, this is a place for you to share your personal experience and relationship with the expanded universe of Rowling's wizarding world. Discussion threads await you once you have graduated Newbie status, however!
  4. Only talk about materials that are not any of the original 7 Harry Potter books, nor the original 8 films. There are separate threads for you to share your favorites of those here and here!
  5. No spam. This means no posting off topic or posting multiple times in a row.

I love the old video games. Especially with the first two, I felt that the developers went out of their way to explore the Wizarding world in a different way than the movies did. I miss playing them so much; the new mobile game is good, but not the same.

Fantastic Beats if probably the best. It keeps the HP world alive! - though Hogwarts Mystery is fun to play to!

Of course, my favourite is the old Pottermore. Remembering all the times I blew up my cauldron because I forgot it makes me unimaginably happy.

I love Pottermore! But I've gone through all of it so it's lost it's appeal. I'm also really enjoying the mobile game!

Default Other HP material

Actually never extended myself past the books and films. Dont want to ruin the mystery of it all. To much info isn't always a good thing

I was always very fond of the Quiddich through the Ages, and Fantastic Beasts books. I got them when I was a kid and it felt to me like I was buying my school books for Hogwarts. I "studied" Fantastic Beasts so much.

All things Harry Potter because it is Harry Potter. I don't know what else to say.

The reason I love Harry Potter And The Cursed Child Part 1 and Part 2 is because it carries on from where the last film finished.

I really enjoyed the PC-game in the early 00's.
Otherwise the first Fantastic beast film, because of newt: he is a different hero, and his animals. Also different podcasts!!

books and cleverness | i like you a latte

I picked the first FB movie and Tales of Beedle the Bard. Watching FB and getting to know a whole other side to the Wizarding World (different time and place, different characters) was an amazing experience. I also love Tales for a similar reason, we knew about it from Deathly Hallows but actually reading it was like being a wizard child myself.

I like the first Fantastic Beasts movie a lot. Had good atmosphere and I actually enjoyed the charismatically uncharismatic Newt Scamander. Otherwise, I have a soft spot for the HP games. So innocent and clunky.

HP and the Cursed Child, pt 1 & pt 2. Because I was dying to know "what comes next," and I really love the friendship between Albus and Scorpius, besides the fact they're both Slytherins... about time a Potter got into my house.

Gotta be Quidditch Through the Ages & Fantastic Beasts and where to find them. They were so on the mark in terms of tone and content for supplementary materials!
