Hello everyone! 
I'm Granger1814, AKA Sabs, and I'll be your mod of the month for June! Let's see..a little about me..well, I am Head of Knockturn Alley, SnitchSeeker's premier roleplaying area. I am also the librarian in the school RPG as well as the assistant shopkeeper for Flourish and Blotts in Diagon Alley. I also sponsor the Hermione Granger Fan Club.
In offline life, I'm a nurse, and spend my days bringing new lives into the world.  In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, reading, cheering on my fave hockey team, and spending time on SS!

You are a Pediatric Nurse? It seems fate has brought us together! lol. I've been giving a lot of thought into becoming a nurse- a nurse that helps deliver babies. Do you find the job stressful, rewarding or both? What about the 12 hour shifts and being on-call? Do you have time for your family? Because it is very important to me to balance both work and family. Sorry about the third degree, I just haven't spoken to anyone who works in this field yet.  | |

Both. Very rewarding, especially when you see your patients deliver a healthy baby or when you have a part in turning a bad outcome into a good one. Stressful, because L&D is so chaotic and you have to be ready to switch gears very quickly.
12 hours aren't too bad; as long as there aren't many in a row - like 3 in a row. The advantage to 12's is that you have more days off. I, unfortunately, don't have much experience with being on call as I"m still in training, so I can't give you a good answer there.
Yes, for the most part, I do have time for my family, which is great. I'm enjoying myself thus far and only hope to continue to love the field.

Neither can I! *shakes head* I certainly hope that he learned his lesson though. She totally didn't and Dominic knows it. He just needs to manage his frustrations better
