Also, don't pretend to ask something just so it looks like you're not spamming out of the Newbie Hut. It's selfish, takes up other people's time and will result in a big, ugly, scary PM from one of us telling you off.

The next sorting will take place somewhere in May or June. There are lots of things to do around the site, so be patient and don't double post.

I've been wondering how often you have to come and get on this?

once you post 10 posts will a message just come up saying 'ggod job now u get to be sorted'? i know thats sort of a stupid question since i will find out myself but just wondering...

do answering polls count as one of the ten legitamate posts? b/c a lot of Hagrid's Hut is polls, and we've already answered most of the posts that you can answer.

The number of posts you've made shows up in the panel next to the post you make under your username. Right now I can see that you've made 4 posts

Not exactly. Once you have 10 posts, you will qualify from a Newbie to a Member. You will notice that the Newbie sign under your username in the panel to the left will change to a Member sign.

Answering polls don't really count as posts. But what you can do is post your opinion on the topic to which the poll is related. Your post count will increase in that way.

You will find an option called [More] under the 10 smileys. Click on that and the rest of the smiley gallery will show up. If you can't find the option, then you may need more than 10 posts to get that option

You can come as much as you like! There's no limit Do be as active as possible!

Yes you can use any images from your computer as long as it follows SS rules. You can read more about signatures in the Madam Malkin's forum.

Flamming is when you write in all caps, LIKE THIS. It represents shouting and it's disrespectful to other members.

The next term starts on June the 3rd
But i'm not sure about the sorting because I think the mods made a mistake on the front page. Anyway, the sorting would be 2 or 3 weeks before that date.

If you need any information on the RPG, the SS front page has all the dates.

Well, at the moment, the sorting is closed because the school RPG is open. But in around May and june it will be open and you will be able to get sorted, it's taking a while because it's not open yet.

I've never heard about email notification for sorting.... but who knows? It's usually pretty obvious when the Sorting has started. There's a big graphic on the SS main page and everything. I understand not wanting to miss it! I love the RPG School!

It stays opened for about two weeks, so unless you come by the sitw during those two weeks, it will highly unlikely that you will miss it.
