Well, the info is updated pretty often when the admins come online. The new term begins in June or July, so the next sorting should be just before some time around that. If your looking for comedy RP's, you should be able to find them at the Knockturn Alley RP section, although, I don't think they might be categorized. As for funny fanfics, you should be able to find them at Grimmauld Place (forum for fanfics) in the comedy section.

Because you might not be a member of that Fan Club. To see exactly which clubs you are in, go to your User CP, and go down to Group Memberships on the left, and that screen will tell you what Fan Clubs you have submitted requests to join at, which ones you are members of, and which ones you are not members of. If your request has not been processed yet, just wait, because you won't be able to post until it is accepted.

The school contains a series of forums including the school itself - classrooms, the library, common rooms, the great hall, the grounds etc., and also contains Hogsmeade which the students are allowed to visit on weekends. The students can start role-playing with their own characters, attending classes and hanging around with friends. If you want more, you'll have to find out when you get sorted

Not really. They aren't immediately removed from the site. Here at SS, we're given a chance to redeem ourselves if we made a mistake. Depending on the severity of your mistake, you are warned by the Administrators or the Moderators, or you could be stripped off your signature and avatar. For school-related offences you could be put in detention or expelled from the school. As for the warnings, once you have 10 warnings from the admins or the mods, you are suspended from the site for a period of 14 days.

I keep losing posts and it's always just enough to keep me from the other forums....just a coincidence or am I cursed? Seriously, though...why would a post be deleted other than flaming, spamming and not following post guidlines?

You might be losing posts due to double posting or posting off topic to whatever thread you might be in.

If you are following all of the posting guidelines it might just be because a thread got deleted. People often lose posts when threads reach their exceeded posting limit. This happens to everyone and it is a part of SS life. =D

You can do them if you want to, it's completely optional. But if you do them it would bring points to your house.

You have to get sorted to get into a house and you have to wait until the sorting opens, which happens in between terms. The next sorting will be sometime in May or June. A specific sate hasn't been posted yet.

hi...i just wanted to ask tht now tht i think i have all most all the hagrid's newbie hut forums i wonder y i still dont have 10 posts i thought of reposting(re-replying) in one of the forums is tht right????? i really want to become a member n get sorted too................

I think it is actually a good rule to have the 10 posts.
Once you take the test and get sorted into your house, how do you play the game? What are the benefits to being sorted and in the school?

I am excited to learn more. I want to play!

Looks to me like you are already a member. =D Now you just have to wait for the sorting to take place. Once the sorting begins you will be able to take the Sorting Quiz and get sorted.

When the current School Term ends shortly thereafter the Sorting will begin.

By game I assume you are talking about the School Role Play. You just jump right in and start Rp'ing (Role Playing). It's great fun and a good way to get to know everyone on the site.

A benefit of being sorted is that you can join in on the school RP. =D

How do you get a picture for your name like some others have? Is that only after you become a member?

I don't know the exact dates for the next sorting, however, I do know that it will be taking place sometime in May/June or July.

You can either request an avatar from one of the shops in here or you can make one yourself. All you do to put one in is go into your UCP and click on "Edit Avatar", then either upload the file directly from your computer or through a link to/from an image hosting site like Photobucket.com. =]
