The main reason is because of the terms in the school RPG. It's made to be as close to what Hogwarts is actually like as possible, and sorting is done at the beginning of each term in Hogwarts. This is how it is done in the RPG school, as well. It also makes it easier for the admins and staff to not have to sort people constantly, they have a tremendous amount of work to take care of on the site and it would be very difficult for them to have to sort people constantly. So, not only is this method true to form, but it works better, too!

Its more organized, not only that Admin's who sort them do have lives too so it better to keep it within 3 months.

Not only that, it makes it more like Hogwarts as you don't get sorted everyday

Clarification: the Mod's don't have any power to sorting, only the Admins. Admins sort people.

You can't just walk into Hogwarts any day and get sorted into a house, you have to be there the beginning of term to get sorted. That's the main reason we do it how we do here on SS. The Admins have a ton of work to do already this would just overflow their brains with stress and work and they'd explode... and we on SS like NON-exploded Admins. =]

You will be able to find the Wand Quiz when your sorted,and are able to go to Diagon Alley,which is in May then you can take the quiz

You do have 10 posts. We have a lot of members from all over the world and English is their second language for some.

When you compete your 10 posts, you can become a member. Then you can be sorted by taking the quiz on May 12th. You can only be sorted once and you will stay in the same house. The house you are sorted in never changes.

Yes May. We are currently in the middle of a school term, so unfortunatly you'll have to wait until then. It is worth the wait.

Do you mean like the three lines I have underneath my signature? To do that, you have to go to the area on your screen that reads "Scribbulus Everchanging Inks" and then click "Submit Your Signature Here", then you submit your signature the way you want it to look and someone will change it for you. If you want really small letters on your text, a certain color, centered, whatever, type it up and submit it exactly as you want it and it will be changed to look exactly as you have submitted it.

You can go and check out the "Submit Your Signature Here" area under Scribbulus and see exactly how it's done and what kind of stuff people have submitted to be changed. The people there are mods and stuff, and they are very helpful!

The box below the thread, is a quick reply box. Enter what you want to say.

Eg: Hello!

Highlight it by clicking on it and dragging your cursor over the whole word.

Then click on the A in the toolbar just above the whiteness of the box (its a light-gray toolbar).

Select which colour you choose.

Eg; Hello.

Check out the coding used but quoting this post. You also can change this feature so no coding is needed, you change it within your Options; found in a tab on the top of you page, its blue and says "UserCP".
