You take the wand quizz once you are sorted. When Diagon Alley is open, hed to Ollivander's wand and take the test there. You willl then get the type of your wand with the core and everything.

Of course you can. But the avatar can't be over bigger than 100 x 100 pixels and 20kb. To do that, Click on User CP (blue toolbar). IN the Control Panel Menu, click on Edit Avatar. You can choose from the hundreds provided by SS or now that you are a member, you upload your own. Remember that hey have to follow SS rulesl.

I suppose you mean dueling in the School RPG. In that case, yes there is. But only in the Dueling Area. Duels outside that area are not allowed. Hope that helps.

Once you're sorted you cant be re-sorted. You have to learn to like the house you are in.

well, you still need 7 posts until your a member. but when you're a member you can do anything. but you have to wait until the next sorting in order to be able to post in the school rpg.

The staff chooses members that are active in the School RPG and are good and helpful RPers and students.

How come some people have "Auror" under their name or a certain class like Astronomy? Are they different ranks?

Yes indeed they are 'higher ranks'. People who have auror under their screen names means that they are a mod, at a certain level. The class image under a certain user's name would mean that they teach that class in the school RPG. They too have mod power.
