The next sorting should be some time in the month of September, after the current term ends. You can ask your friend to sign up meanwhile - there are loads of other activities out here on SS - RPing is just one part of it.

There have been no announcements regarding the hosting of another contest for Deathly Hallows, and since the release date is very near now, I don't think there will be. However, please do keep an eye out for any post-release contests.

I've done the 'sorting' quiz through 'sorting-hat.com', at the end of that you get a link to use as a forum sig, I'm wondering if I'm allowed to use that link saying "I'm a Gryffindor" (and the Gryffindor coat of arms) on this site (once I'm allowed sigs!) or is that not the "done thing" (since I haven't been 'sorted' on here)?

There's been some problems with that lately, so it's not working at the moment. Biochemkris is changing the featured smilies regularly. Hopefully that feature will be back sooner or later

You are member now, so you should be able to PM someone. Just click on Private Messages in the box that says when you last visited.

No, that won't work. You have to be sorted in this site. The sorting is now closed. teh next sorting will take place around September.

No, I'm afraid there won't be another Sorting until September This is because a school term lasts about three monthes. A term shorter than that is quite pointless as you can't get much done. Classes and Quidditch and other activities take up quite a lot of time

To join Fan Clubs, click on User CP (Blue Toolbar). In the Control Panel menu, click on Group Memberships. There, just mark the clubs you would like to join and then at the bottom click on Join Groups.

For the Mininstry RPG, you have to be sorted there first. Just go here.

Well, there are Character stories, Epic and Adventure stories, Romance Stories, Fandom Cross overs and an Others category which doesn't really fit into the other categories. For more info, you can go to the Fan Fiction forum.

It's done at the end of very term. And each term lasts about three months.

The sorting is a quiz you take and you are sorted according to your answers on the quiz.

They sort you according to your answers and if they see a house getting more students, they sort you in the next house best suited for you.

By doing what you just did. Posting a message in any of the thread. You have to make 10 legit posts (following SS rules) in Hagrid's Newbie Hut (you can also post in the new forum) before you are able to see and post the rest of the site.
