The sorting quiz is over and you may not be able to take it now. However, as soon as term ends, which should be within 3 months, it will be put up again and you may take it then. In the meanwhile, there are a host of other activities to pursue here on SS, so have fun!

If you mean you would like to post in other topics, you will have to make 10 legit posts in this forum to become a member. To post in other threads, just click on the thread's link and then, click on the button labelled 'Post Reply' inside that thread. Type in your reply and submit it. If you have made 10 legit posts and have become a member, you will be allowed to post in the other forums as well.

Yes you can be banned, but it's after repeated offences. If you have been warned and you continue to brake the rules, you can get banned from the site.

Since you are still a newbie, you can post in Hagrid's Newbie hut or in the news forum to get your ten posts needed.

Please read the rules more carefully and don't one after the other. If you have other questions and nobody has answered the one you just wrote, edit your post with the next question.

As it's been said before, the sorting is now closed. You will be able to be sorted when the sorting opens again, which will be around September.

You just did one; you've done 5. They aren't something special, just type in the box at the bottom of a thread and then click Submit Reply and there's your post!

Well,I am trying to post something.In fact I have been trying for ages.But it says that I can not post for some reasons.Is there any way in which I can share my views about Harry Potter?

I saw in usafab's answer that writing in this box counts for a post.I am starting to understand...But is there any particular reason to make these nonsense replies in order to have the chance to make a new thread?

I want to write my views..Is there any chance for Harry?Now with Dumbledoor gone?The 2 most acoomlished wizards now are Voldemort and Snape and they are on the same side..I know it;s only 20 days before the book is out but \i cannot wait..

That's because you are still a newbie. You need to post at least 10 legit posts before being to post in other forums.

You are still a member, once you have ten legit posts, you will become a member and will be able to make new threads. And you have to do that so you can get familiar with the rules before "graduating" to the rest of the forums.

You have to follow the rules and post the ten posts before you are able to post your views. I suggest you read this before posting.

And please, if you a question and your revious hasn't been answered, edit your post and add your new question. Don't post one after the other, it's considered spamming.

Whenever I'm on Snitchseeker my Norton blocks something the site is trying to download onto my computer. Why is that?

You can only get an Avatar that SS has as a default icon until you have your 10 posts and are a Member.

Because Snitchseeker does not require any downloads to view the site. It means that Norton is doing it's job, because SS has never and will never make you download anything to view the site, it's obviously a virus trying to get into your comptuer.
