If you know the answer to a newbie's question, feel free to answer it, but anyone who replies in a non-friendly way in here will most likely be punished.
Also, don't pretend to ask something just so it looks like you're not spamming out of the Newbie Hut. It's selfish, takes up other people's time and will result in a big, ugly, scary PM from one of us telling you off.

I really didn't want to have to ask for help but.......
It's my Signature no matter what i do it will not allow me to change it!
it says no matter what i do, That i am not allowed more then fifthy caricters and thats even when i write just one letter.
I have no idea how to fix this and i implore anyone who can help me to please do so, Becuase this sitaution is most discourageing.

N.A.E | Firstly, please remember that though we don't mind members and sorted members posting in here, this thread is basically for general site and rule questions. I encourage you to use the Prefect's Office for more specific questions. This isn't to say you were wrong, but that thread will better ensure you get someone who knows the answer and that you don't get skipped cos someone doesn't know 
For your answer, I hunted down a Siggy Mod, and they said that you must have a lot of coding ([url ][/url], [b] [/ b], etc) and that counts to your character count. If you can't upload it yourself go to Madame Malkins and let one of the siggy mods put it in for you.

Is the sorting (I haven't been able to get sorted yet so I'm not sure) randomly chosen, you know to make the amount of students in each house equal or is it based on the answers to the sorting hat questions or however the sorting hat goes. Just curious! | |

There is a series of questions, and you will be sorted accordingly to which house the Admins think you best fit based on those answers. | |

There are a lot of things to do and even more sections, forums, and threads to explore. I would suggest checking out all of the main areas of the site such as the forums/sections in the Wizarding World.
I also highly recommend this place if you're up for it because that's where almost everyone meets, well, just about everyone. =] | |

You should go down to the Knockturn Alley once youve been promoted to member (wont take long) Then you can read the rules on starting new RPs.
You can specify who exactly you want playing and if you want it to be a closed RP like you were saying before only the people you want can join up as long as you mention it on the first post.
It can be about the Hogwarts RP, using the charries you would use or anything to do with the hogwa | |
