If you know the answer to a newbie's question, feel free to answer it, but anyone who replies in a non-friendly way in here will most likely be punished.
Also, don't pretend to ask something just so it looks like you're not spamming out of the Newbie Hut. It's selfish, takes up other people's time and will result in a big, ugly, scary PM from one of us telling you off.

How long does it generally take to become a mod, or a more active member of this site if one would like to be more involved? Do such opportunities ever present themselves? (Just curious. I don't want to be a mod or anything.) | |

Mods are chosen by the administration, and are generally people the admins know can handle and and can trust to do the job properly and set a good example.
As for becoming more active/getting involved, explore the site once you're in the "member" user group. Join discussions, play the games, etc, a good place to start getting to know people is in the TP
I gave the link to the entire forum because the thread in use usually changes every couple of days.

Referalls are when somebody register on the site and you told them about the site, they will put your username as a referall. When someone has put yout username as a referall, it will show on your profile. Quote:
