This is a game alllll about the site rules. If you've actually read the rules this should be no problem for you, if not, there is a link to the "Rules & FAQ" on the blue navigation bar at the top of each page.
Some basic instructions & guidelines:
1. This is a GAME, if you don't understand something & have a real question, go to the QUESTIONS & ANSWERS thread in the Newbie Hut.
2. ONLY ask site-related quiz questions, that's why it's called 'Quiz about the RULES', not about harry potter or anything else. If you need to get an answer to a question, please ask it in the Newbie Hut's Q & A Thread.

The sorting hat ceremony happens once every 3 months. I don't believe anyone will inform you of this, but you can check the school block on the front page to find the out when the next sorting starts.
Question: Someone on another board told me that you can PM Dumbledore and ask him to sort you, so it gets done faster! Is that true? | |

after youre out of the newbie hut (when you reach ten posts) you can get sorted into one of the houses when they have the sorting ritual every three months

No, you are not allowed to swear. There are sensors in place to stop this, but if you do cheat the sensor, you post will be edited/deleted and you will get a warning.
