I definitely like the books better because of the detail. They cut too many scenes from the movie, which I don't like at all.

I prefer the books over the films. The books give you a grander chance to use your imagination. Where as the film is in color and not much is left to your own fascinations ideas and dreams of what the world looks like.

That's a difficult question. I love to read, and I love the discriptions. I guess my answer would have to be the books over the movies. Although the movies are wickedly awesome themselves.

Definatly the books, the movies cut far too much out, I have hope for DH though, since they are doing it in two parts, but my hope for HBP is slipping because they are adding a new sceen.

Thumbs up

I SUPPOSE I find the films more enjoyable overall, because of the special effects and the actors.

books... books... books... books... books... a thousand times, books.
love the actors, but am 'fraid to say the films have messed the story up too much, changing parts, missing parts *remebers anger at snapes worst memory in OotP film, clenches fists*...
*unclenches fists to continues typing*
the films have got a LOT of making up to do with the last two, 'specially DH, if they want to win my affection.

Cool

I DEFINITELY like the books more than the movies. The books have everything in them. Nothing is left out. But the movies are good too but they don't always put everything into them from the books. I'm always eager to see if EVERYTHING from the book is in the movie. I know it would be too long if it did have everything from the book into the movie. But there's my answer.

Oh, I definitely like the books more as you can just imagine what the characters actually look like and the films kind of destroy that.

Oh and I forgot the films generally miss alot of scenes from the books out and that is just wrong!!

i havent really thought about it really, i dont think i could decide cose the books let your imagination place what the characters act, yet te films shows it in a completely other way than you would have done

I like the books alot better than the movies because of how much more detailed the books are and in the moies they leave out alot of parts that make up more of the characters personality.

The books are so very much better than the movies, even though they are amazing. I just wish they wouldn't cut so much out. They might be equally great if they made the movies just like the books. I'm a hardcore enough fan to go watch a 6 or 7 hour Harry Potter movie.

I love both but the books are my favourite by far. they allow my mind to wander n create whole new stories of my own. they allow my imagination to work in over time and in a weird way I love the dissappointment I feel when I've read them lol cos it's shows they're THAT good lol...I love the hype that surrounds the midnight sales opening ( that's over now tho *cries*) infact I even went to WHSmiths when I was on me hols in Llandudno to get Deathly Hallows n my family banned me from reading past the first page otherwise I wouldnt have spoke for the rest of the holiday cos id be reading it lol...love love xxxx
