what was harry's reaction to that thing..is he angry,thankful or mad..?

I think Harry was shocked when he found out the truth, then sad when yet another person who cared about him passed away. I think he wished he could have had a chance to know Snape better, especially after finding out the whole truth about him.

Yah..I was thinking to that possibility..and I have also a theory that maybe Harry was regretting that he should be nice to Snape or he should not think that snape wasn't bad

I, too, think Harry would feel shock and sad when another person who cared about him passed away, yet I don't think he would regret or should be nice to Snape because Snape treated him so terrible. Snape hated him as worse as he did though he would regret he couldn't save him.

I would think that its a combination of sadness, regret and maybe a bit of anger. Sadness, because Snape died to keep him alive and able to fulfill his destiny (which he would have given up on a number of occasions). Regret: because he'll never get to know his mom through Snape's eyes. Never get to know who this man was without the constant threat of being discovered. Anger: Why did Snape have to be so mean to him? Apart from the obvious reasons, why did Snape not 'see' that he, Harry, wasn't his father? He wasn't a carbon copy because his upbringing was extremely different from his father's.

I think that he was shocked, obviously, but i believe that he was also touched. Snape may not have cared that much for harry, but he loved Lily and that was enough to change harry's mind about him, i think. To have named one of his children after him he must have changed his outlook

I think he was touched, I mean Snape did treat him badly, but he also looked out for him all the time. So, Harry probably was happy to at least know the truth about him.

He might have been a bit angry because of the bad treatment he always received from him but hey he named his kid after him so he got over it.
