I think that he won't need training to be an auror if he defeats Voldemort and survives. But, I do think that he will want to make it his life to keep his loved-ones safe by being an auror. It just seems to me that he wouldn't want to leave that all up to the ministry, which seems to be inept in that department.

I think that after he defeats Lord Voldie Pants (if he does! yikes!), he wont have a job... but if he had to have one, I think he'd be an auror. I could definately see him doing that.

I think that if he defeats Voldemort, and survives, then he'll become an Auror. But, as Le said, he wouldn't need training because COME ON. He defeated the greatest dark wizard alive. He'll get Merlin 1st Class and he'll be on chocolate frog cards and all that sort of stuff.

I think harry would go on as a professional quidditch player if he survives.

I reckon... no wait I hope that Harry becomes Captain of the England Quidditch team! as seeker of course, and that he'll reform the Order of the Phoenix if anything bad happens!

I think he will become an auror.He loves his friends, and will protect them.He can also defeat any other dark forces which are left if he is an Aoror.

exactly, Voldy's not gonna be the last evil guy ever, so Harry the hero will have to deal with other peeps... and play Quidditch

If he defeats LV and survives, I think he'll help the Order get rid of the rest of the Death Eaters then be a professional quidditch player.

yeh naturally he'd get rid of the Death Eaters before Quidditch, it has a *slight* priority Although, he won't need to deal with too many Death Eaters because most of them will probably turn themselves in after Voldy's dead *chickens*

I think he's going to be a quidditch star, then come back later on and coach Quidditch at Hogwarts!

He will become headmaster of hogwarts after he defeats Voldemort. Either that or a quite retirement and living in peace with Ginny at a new house in Godrics Hollow happily ever after.

I'm torn between seeing him as an Auror or as a professional Quidditch Player. I think both careers suit him well although he has not yet voiced the wish to play Quidditch for the rest of his life, he would greatly enjoy it. On the other hand there are always Dark Wizards to catch, and he's not the type to fly around on a broom and letting them kill people, so Auror is just as likely.

He could do both, but it would be difficult. also he'd have to run off half way through training to catch some evil dude on the loose *walkie talkie power*. Although there would be a subsitute seeker for emergencies...

You know, i think he won't NEED to be an auror with Voldemort gone, but then again, there could still be bad people out there who he would enjoy fighting and beating. I'm sure just the sight of him would scare them though, considering, if he beats Voldemort, that would make him like one of the strongest and best wizards of all time (other then Dumbledore of course). I really don't know, i think he would still want to become an auror though since his life would be pretty boring otherwise. So i would have to say, yeah, i think he will be one. And if not, then he will end up being a normal muggle, doing normal muggle things, with a bit of magic added in

I'm not sure Harry would return to the muggle life after growing up with the Dursleys, he may well have a phobia of it! but he will def be Superman if he defeats Voldy he's always wanted to be an auror, and he can work with Tonks!!!

That would make catching Dark Wizards easier for him.

About returning to the Muggle World: I also don't think that he would. Magic is part of what he is and I don't think he would want to give it up.

The only taste of the muggle world he's had is the Dursleys and school, not sure he'll want to go back to that...

*agrees* He does. And I find the idea of Harry being an Auror amazing. After all, that's we he's wanted to do for ages and finally that's one thing that went really right in his life.

I like that he is head of the department. He will definately be the one that keeps the corruption out of the department. Like most political places it was full of corruption. Of course he is Dumbledore's man through and through, he he. I think though that he works for enjoyment. After inheriting the gold from his parents, and then all that gold from Sirius he really didn't need to work. I am sure that dark wizards are very fearful of him, but I think, like in the muggle world, there will always be people who will desire power so much that they will do anything to try and achieve it, so there will always be a need to have aurors. I am glad to see Ron is working along side of Harry.
