Congradulations.
I didn't really have to much hope on winning. I wrote my story [get this] in 3-4 hours (not really probably less), made the first banner in 7 min, by myself (I am very proud of that

) and PMed it to MIs by like 11:57 PM, I think? What that the time? I"m not sure, but it was just in time for it.
Great job.

This time I'm gonna work at it.

March's Short-Story Contest

Okay, so it's time to have our monthly short-story contest!!! Are you guys ready? Alright, I'm going to post the storyline and the rules. If you have any questions please feel free to PM me! Good Luck to everyone that enters!

Storyline: Padma Patil has been keeping a secret from her twin sister Parvati Patil. Parvati had noticed her sister's strange behavior when they took the Christmas break to spend with their family. On a few occasions, her sister would miss the DA meetings and their regular sister hang out day. What is Padma hiding that she doesn't want her sister to find out? You decide how it all goes!

Guidelines: Your short-story must include:

- Title
- Banner or graphic *DO NOT INCLUDE YOUR NAME OR USERNAME*
- 1,500 words or less

Rules:

- All SS Rules Apply
- Vote for TWO of your favorites *Don't vote for your own*

- Limit 2 entries only *must be different from each other*

She wanted to speak to Padma about it but she could seldom see her. After every class she used to rush away. Parvati got up really late on Sunday. Her head felt like it was going to burst. She got up and searched for Lavender but she had already gone down for breakfast. She quickly got dressed and went to the great hall. The great hall was noisy as usual. She then spotted Lavender and Waved at her who waved back. She felt that this was the best time to speak to Padma.Instead of walking to the Gryffindor Table she walked towards the Ravenclaw table. She searched for Padma and found her sitting towards the end with her friends. Parvati walked up to her and said
”Hi Padma.How are you?”
”Fine” replied Padma grumpily.
”Ummm care for a chat? I want to talk to you”
Padma looked at Parvati suspiciously but followed her out of the great hall.
Parvati reluctantly said Padma "do you realize that you have not been attending the DA meetings for quiet a few weeks?”
“Yes I know that”replied Padma.”Then tell me what’s wrong? Please tell me if you have any problem. I’ll try to help you.”
But Padma replied angrily” its none of your business whether I come to the DA meetings or no. You are my biggest problem right now!!”
Parvati was shocked. She couldn’t believe that her sister was speaking like that to her. Later that night she began to wonder.”What's wrong with Padma??? I think she has got a big problem. Maybe if I infomMOM she may try and speak to Padma.”But she later decided against it, as her mom would be frightened. She just couldn’t sleep. She decided to take a walk. Seventh Years were allowed to roam the corridors up to 10 'O' clock. She got up, got out of the girls dormitory and went out. The fat lady disturbed from her sleep began to groan” Couldn’t you finish your work outside a little before?”Parvati absent-mindedly replied an apology. She was only thinking about Padma now and slowly her thoughts wandered off to the DA. …Dumbledore…. Voldemort…and hen back to the DA.She slowly began to walk towards the stairs. Suddenly Parvati heard some noise. Expecting Flinch she hid behind a statue in the tapestry and waited. Slowly there cams a leg and then to Parvati’s surprise came Padma..She quickly followed her sister. It was dark. She couldn’t afford to light her wand.Padma slowly climbed the stairs and came up to the seventh floor.Padma still following her sister kept on looking around for any sign of Flich but they were lucky. she then saw her sister slowly enter an unused classroom. There she saw Padma move towards the corner of the room. She removed a Cloak and there lay Padma on the ground hands, feet tied and mouth shut with a cloth. The Padma who came in removed a bottle of yellowish liquid from her pocket .Immediately Parvati understood what was happening. The Padma who had just went into the room was not Padma but an Imposter who pretended like Padma by Using polyjuice potion. She couldn’t think of anything and immediately shouted”AccioPotion”
And the potion flew from Padma’s hands right into her hands. She immediately threw it down and the potion was spilled.The fake Padma out of anger fired a hex at Parvati which narrowly missed her.Parvati alert this time fired a hex but missed it.The Fake Padma fired another hex at her but Parvati narrowly escaped using a shield charm just in time.”Its if no use sweety.now you will join your dear sister in this room” said the fake Parvati tauntingly.’oh will I?Lets see!” replied and shouted”Stupefy!!”The hex hit her right in the chest and she dropped down like a statue.Immediately her figure began to change.The Polyjuice Potion’s effect was wearing off and there lay before her Bellatrix Lestrade.One of the prisoners who broke out of Askabad the year before last.Parvati slowly went towards Padma and untied her.”since how long have you been here?”she asked.”About a month” Padma replied”thanks.I thought I would never escape from here””don’t worry.i am always there for you” replied Parvati smiling.There was noise from the corridor and there came Prof Mcgonall and Pof slughorn.Busy with the battle Parvati id not realize how much noise she had made.Padma was immediatelyshifted to the hospital wing.prof Mcgonall called Parvati to her room and asked her what had happened.Parvati began telling her how she found her sister’s behaviour strange and then followed her and discovered the Imposter keeping in mind all the time not to let slip out anything about the DA.Prof Mcgonall replied “You were very lucky that she didn’t have an accompile.Now you may go to sleep.”Next day she was the Hero of Gryffindor.Harry Declared that he was very proud of Parvati indeed as she had made the DA proud.”well” replied Parvati “atleast no one else will dare to
Mess with any other DA member.””that’s true”replied hermione.They soon broke up for Christmas and Parvati was glad that she could have some rest and peace before hunting down some other imposter in the school and this time along with the DA and her real sister!!!J
