Come and send a note or letter using your own owl or any of the school owls.

Crystal rushed into the owlery and looked around for Gizmo, she wanted to right a letter home to let her mum and dad know she had arrived okay. Once she had called her owl down to her she pulled a peice of parchment and a text book out of her bag and began to write
Crissy smiled as she read the note through then attatched it to Gizmos leg with instructions of where to take it and watched him fly off into the sky

Kairi walked into the owlery, a little tired after climbing all those steps, and called for Mitchi. She immediately flew down and landed on her shoulder. Kairi gave her a small smile, and put her piece of paper onto the window ledge, took out her quill and began to write:

To Grandad,
I know you will never get this letter, but it feels good writing to you and i know you would be proud to recieve it. Unfortuneately my owl, Mitchi, doesn't have the power to fly to heaven, but i'm sure she will find a way to make sure your soul recieves it. Anyway, I arrived at Hogwarts, made a few friends, and had a great time at the feast. I'm sure it hasn't changed much since when you came here, and it feels nice to think 'I'm walking in my grandad's footsteps right now.' I'm writing to you because you're my only relative who was ever nice to me, and i'm sure my mum and dad wouldn't care about my well being. Georgina's still as annoying as ever, so nothing's changed much there. I'll write to you again soon, I promise, and although you're dead, I know you're always with in my heart, I miss you!

Kairi looked at the letter and smiled, even though she was blind, she had taught herself to write. She pushed her red hair behind her ears and let Mitchi hop onto her arm. She tied it to her leg then watched her fly off into the distance, a small smile on her face.

Nathaniel had already sent his little bird on a trip. He needed a bigger one for the long trip to the States. He looked around and saw a huge brown owl and knew that he'd be able to make the trip. Nathaniel took out a quill and wrote
"Hey sis,
All is good at school. It's amazing. I didn't get into Ravenclaw.. I got Gryffindor. I'm trying out for the house team and making lots of friends. Have you talked to Mum or dad? I hope they stay together. Have you talked to the twins?! Ohhhh guess what... remember Sophia?! Her and I are dating! It's that amazing?
How are the boys? Doing good i hope. I'll be sending them a present soon.

he rolled up the parchment and tied it to the owl.He picked the owl up and took him to window watched him fly into the rain

Via went up the owlery to send a letter for her Parents. She usually addresses her letters to her DAd. She carefully made her way to an owl so as not to stumble. A school owl hooted beside her, she should have bought an owl but SLumber's enough at the moment.

She carefully scrolled her letter and tied it on the Owl's feet. "Please Take the letter to my Dad and show him how i miss them," she smirked at the last part. She set the owl free and waited until she could no longer see it. She happily made her way down.

Sam walked into the owlery and looked around at all the owls. She made her way over to her snowy owl, Cat, and patted her head. "Hello, Cat. Miss me?" she asked. Cat hooted at her owner, and Sam smiled. She pulled out some parchment and her quill and began her letter.

Sam smiled and thought of Trace.
Sam read over her letter, and smiled. She folded it up and looked at Cat.
"Ok, here's the letter. Give it to mum. ok?"
Cat hooted. Sam handed the owl the letter and Cat quickly took it in her beak.
"Good. I'll be in the common room." Cat flew off, and Sam watched her. She left, and started down the stairs. She looked up and saw Trace and his friends. She stared for a second, and hesitated.

"No! you have to mix it up with the green dye, then you throw it at the person's head. It's supposed to be green."
"I just don't see the point of it." Mason shrugged.
"It makes a vomit effect." Trace replied.
"Where do you think of this stuff?"
"That, my friend, is a secret I shall take to the grave..." he smiled.
"Well, if it isn't little Miss Sammy Snape." Trace smiled.
"Hey, Sam." Mason greeted.
The two other boys nodded a hello and made their way up to the top.

Sam smiled and eyed him, "Seems to be, Mr Trace Wood." She looked at Mason, "Hi, Mason. Hi guys. What are you up to now, Trace? Concocting some terrible scheme?"

"Ah, I have thought of this genius plan. We're going to take a vile of polyjuice potion, mix it with green food coloring, then throw it at someones head. Hopefully, it will turn their hair green AND change them into something else."
Mason shook his head.
"I'm telling you it won't work. Doesn't a person have to drink Polyjuice to change?"
"It will work! And that is just a minor adjustment I have yet to make." Trace said, arguing his case.
"Yeah, sure." Mason said. He looked around and then eyed Sam. "Is uh...is Hailey up there?"

Sam shook her head, "Mason's right. Whoever you target has to drink the potion to change, and I doubt they'll agree to. Willingly anyways." She glanced and Mason and smiled, "No, she didn't come with me. In fact, I didn't tell her where I was going." Sam shrugged, " Oh, well. She's hanging out in the common room."

"Oh.." Mason looked disappointed. "Well, I'm gonna go see her then."
"Wait a minute, wait a minute! Why are you going to see her? We need to work on this!" Trace argued.
"Listen to Sam. It won't work. Besides, I think I'm going to warn her about your green dye idea." he said, and he ran down the stairs with Trace yelling after him.
"Fine go!" he sighed and looked at Sam.
"Guess it's just you and me now. Mind coming back up with me so I can mail this thing?" he asked.

Lizzie entered the owlery tower and looked around. It was huge and full of birds. She spotted Zara at the opposite side of the room, and hurried towards her. With a soft hoot Zara landed on her arm, and Lizzie smiled inside. Zara seemed to like her, and that made her happy. She took out the letter she had written earlier that morning and read through it.
She felt a bit sad at the thought of her family, especially about the broken bike. John had been so angry at her for borrowing it without asking him. She had told him that she needed a bigger bike, but he didn't seem to agree. He was three years older, but his bike wasn't to big för her, she had thought. Unfortunatelly she had fell over and the frontwheel of the bike got twisted. With a sigh she decided not to think more about that, and sent the letter away with Zara.

"All right Mason. I'll see you later." Sam watched Trace for a minute and nodded, "Yeah, sure. It's not like I have anything better to do."

"Ouch." Trace said as he leaned against the wall with his hand to his heart. "So I'm someone you hang out with when you have nothing better to do. Nice, Sam. I'll remember that." he said as he started to walk up the stairs.

Sam blushed and followed him up the stairs, "No, I-I didn't mean it like that Trace." She said, behind him, "I just-I'll reword it. Ok?" She thought for a moment and smiled, "Sure, Trace I would love to go back into the owlery with you. Better?"

Trace looked at her confused.
"Are you alright? You know I was just kidding with you." he said.

Sam nodded, "Oh, uh, yeah. I'm fine." Sam looked out the window and saw Cat fly back in with a letter in her beak. She landed on Sam's shoulder and dropped the letter in Sam's hand. She quickly opened the letter.

Sam blushed knowing full well that Trace was standing next to. She looked up at him for a moment and saw he wasn't over her shoulder and continued reading.
Sam smiled as she folded the letter back up and gave Cat an owl treat.

Trace nodded and watched as Sam's owl flied through the window. He turned to his own owl and attached the letter to its leg.

"You know where to go." Trace said as he pet the owl. It hooted and flew off.
Trace smirked and looked to Sam. "Think Hailey will be upset knowing that I'm using Artimus?"

Sam smirked, "She will if you tell her, but I don't see why you can't use him." She stuck her letter in her pocket, and turned back to Trace, "So, are you and Hailey gonna come over during the holiday break? Mother would like to know early," she shrugged, "I don't know why though, it's a good three months away." Sam looked at him, "We should get back to the common room," and headed to the door.
