Set up directly across from the entrance, this large, polished wooden desk is easily visible and even may call attention to itself. Written across the front panel in large, curvy print are the words "Owl Post Office". Against the wall, about six feet from where the cushioned stools are, there are three boxes; your letters, when placed in there by an employee, will vanish (Don't worry, they're only being sent to the mail room!). Seated behind the desk, depending on the time of the day, you may find as many as three employees ready and waiting to help. However, if you approach the desk and find it empty, there is a small silver bell just off to the left. Please only ring it once; the enchanted bell will make no discernible sound when pressed. However, it will be heard in the Mail Room and Owlery, and it's rather loud.

When you have written your letter up, and are ready to buy your postage and send it off, please wait in line for the next available employee to help you.

After what had been a rather tiring conversation with Preston, Eleanor had departed, saying that she needed to get back to work. But, first, she needed to send off this owl!

Quickly, but beautifully, penned, the letter was ready, save for some postage. Approaching the service desk, Eleanor hitched her bag up higher on her shoulder and waited.

This man. Was so frustrating. TJ was always, always good with customers, but this guy was just SO UNPLEASANT. His wrinkly, puckered old mouth just wouldn't stop talking and most of what he said was just mean. TJ did not appreciate.

However, he was forever polite, because... well the dude was old. As annoying as he was, he was old. Which meant that he wouldn't tell him to stop being all... rude.

The next girl in line looked much, much more pleasant.

"Can I help you, Miss?" he called to the woman, gesturing her forward.

Eleanor smiled kindly as she approached the counter. "Hi, yes. I just need to send this off. It's on it's way to TerrorTours."

Eleanor pushed the letter across the desk, realizing that, yes, it was likely easier and cheaper to just walk down the alley and deliver it herself, but the man had said to owl him. And so owl she would.

"No rush on it. "

"Regular letter, standard postage then?" Trystan replied with an easy smile and a nod. Picking up the letter, he looked at it, weighing it in his hand automatically. It was light enough for regular postage.

"Sixteen knuts, unless there's something else you need today, Miss..." he looked at the envelope, at the return address in the corner. "Kingsley?"

"Yes, that would be fine," Eleanor said simply, as she slipped her bag off her shoulder and onto the table. Leaning over it, curls falling in front of her face for the briefest moment before she tucked them behind her ear, she searched for her coin purse.

Carefully extracting all the knuts in her bag, she found herself two shy. Sighing, she extracted a sickle instead.

"Sorry I don't have exact change," she said contritely as she handed it over.

Waiting patiently as the young lady dug through her bag for money, TJ examined the name on the front of the envelope. Rafe... Harper? Hadn't there been a woman working there?

Ahhh. She had maybe been one to leave when Diagon Alley had been infested with creatures. Thank Merlin for the owls, the little buggers hadn't dared enter their building.

"That's quite alright, I can make change for you." Opening the till drawer, TJ dropped the sickle in and counted out the 13 knuts change. "Here you are, miss. And thank you for your business."

Closing the drawer, and then dropping the letter into the 'out' box, he looked back to the woman once more.

"Have a good day, Miss Kingsley. Hope to see you again soon."

A very hurried woman stepped inside, carrying a very small note (or letter - if it's written by hand, it's the same).

Sienna walked all the way to the desk, she needed the Owl to get in time for Ian, not that it was truly necessary, but..."Hi, I need to send this right away" she said, with a smile, as she approached the closest person who seemed in charge of this desk.

"How much is the Express service?" she only asked so she'll get the money out, because no matter how much it was she needed to get Ian the note, and she could also buy an Owl of her own, too.

Asami had only peeked her head out of the mail room door to see if her boss was over run with costumers, when a woman had rushed into the building and headed over to the service desk. Not in any hurry to clean up the owlery, the woman slipped the rest of her small frame through the door and strolled over to the desk in time to hear the woman's question.

"That depends, where is the letter headed?" She inquired, pulling her hair into a quick ponytail as she took a seat on the stool besided TJ.

Actually, that would be a very nice to do to Ian.

"That will be 18 knuts." She said with a small smile. It wouldn't take the letter long to arrive to DP, especially with one of the smaller owls. "Will you be sending anything with the letter?" She asked, holding her hand out to receive the letter.

Hmmm. 18 knuts? That was pretty cheap, this was the cheapest way to avoid seeing Ian for sure!

"Okay. 18 knuts" she nodded, and started to look for the change in her purse when the woman spoke again, "Oh, no, just the letter" she smiled, maybe later on she could some info about the interview...and avoid seeing him again, yes, she could get used to owls.

"Here you go" Sienna gave the 18 knuts, surprised to have the exact change with her. "When will it be arriving?" just an approximate date, no details.

Taking the letter, she examined it for a moment while the woman searched for the coins she needed. Ian Hoshino. She was sure she had read the name somewhere in the paper, but wasn't sure what about the section. If the woman she was helping didn't seem to be in such a hurry, then she might have asked. Instead she just placed the letter into the drop box and turned back to the woman.

Asami could always scann her copy of the paper on her break. If she ever got to it; cleaning the owlery seemed to take forever and a day.

"Thank you." She responded with a smile. Taking the coins, she opened the drawer and counted each knut as it droped into the drawer. "We will send the letter off as soon as possible." Her attention now back on the woman in front of her. "It should arrive within the next day or so." Probably sooner since the letter wasn't leaving Diagon.

Sienna nodded as the woman took the coins, and listened every coin dropping in the drawer but didn't keep the count. "Thank you" a little nod, which this time didn't make her hair shine like the sun because the lightning inside was not the best for those sort of things.

"That's perfect!" a smile made its way to Sienna's face. She didn't have to see Ian, and she could totally head over to the interview without wasting more time.

"Okay, thank you so much for the help" yes, she was ready to leave, "Have a nice day!" her smile widened and then she started to walk towards the door, leaving the Post Office rather quickly. This was simply great, one less thing to do.

Even though this was a lovely day, Devlin was absolutely not happy to be here at this moment. The only reason that made him come was because his wife had asked him too. She was the only one who he couldn't say no to. Of course he could have found countless excuse: asking is son to do it which was not the most reliable thing to do or ask Abraham who was actually working in Diagon Alley. But then again the man was getting rather old and he felt uneasy to do so. Needlessly to say that he was in hurry to get this things done and leave as soon as possible.

Pushing the door open, he walks slowly toward what looks like the counter. Fidgeting with the letter he was starting to wander if it wouldn't be faster to get to the specific store but since he didn't want to waste anytime, this was probably the faster way or was it?

"You have a nice day as well." She called after the woman, watching her leave the Post Office. Just as soon as the woman walked out, and man walked in behind her. Unlike the woman, he seemed to be in no hurry and she waited patiently as he walked up to the counter.

"How can I help you, Sir?" Asami gave the man a welcoming smile, eyes flickering to the letter he was fiddling with in his hands.

Lucy held the letter in her hands and walked up to the desk. "Hi," she said brightly and rested the letter on the desk. "Express post puleez." She smiled.

Right. Letter to mom and dad. Where, London or Edinburgh? Probably Edinburgh, otherwise Elijah would've seen them. He quickly scribbled the adress on the envelope and sealed it. He noticed a girl about his age. "For me too, please," he said and waited.

He didn't stroll into the Post Office, per se.

But he did walk in, confident, in a way. He held himself well, like any man would, but you could see that he didn't think he was exactly the bees knees.

Gregory pushed open the door, and observed quickly what he could see from that point, before heading in the direction of the service desk. He'd already noticed that there was someone there, but she was dealing with two others, so he stood and waited a little.

He had time.

Ramona rushed in panting, holding the letter she had just written tightly in her hand, Oh god, she murmered when she saw a que and waited, hopping on one foot, her stomach turning over and over again in nervousness until she reached the front of the que, this letter please. For...for a Mr Charley Brown on Blackheath common she said nodding, wringing her hands together as she waited, how much will it be? She asked. She couldn't turn back. She couldn't...

But she couldn't tell him, she couldn't destroy him and Nicole, she hated him. But she couldn't help but love him too. But she musn't, it was one stupid night. But. But. BUT WHAT? A voice screamed in her head, this is his fault as much as yours. He has to be involved! The voice snapped, take this letter please she thrusted the letter into the person behind the counters hand. She couldn't hold it. She'd chicken out. As it was she wasn't going to sleep until she spoke to him, holding the letter was just making it worse. Express deliverary as well too please her voice quavered, the sooner the better.

...A winded woman rushed past.

Asami's eyes narrowed slightly at tone in her voice and the letter that was thrust in her hands. "There's a line ma'am." Slight irritation in her voice, eyes flicking to the man she was still helping and the one she had just skipped.

She shot the waiting man an fleeting glance, she continued to wave him forward. This customer apparently wouldn't be here too long as she seemed to be in a hurry.

"Is Blackheath Common in London?" She inquired, irritation gone from her voice, eyes on the woman as she carefully smoothed out the crumpled letter.

Nathan walked into the owl post office with the intention to send an owl to Lyra. He walked over to the counter, smiled at the person behind it and said "Hello, I need to send an owl." Of course he needed to send an owl. This was an owl post office for Merlin's sake! That was just a stupid line.

Smiling brightly the dark haired young woman approached the man at the other side of the counter. ''Sure, sir'' she said kindly ''What service do you request? Economy, Standard, Express or Package? And where will your owl be headed to?''
