The City Park and Park Benches

Amidst London's busy streets and buildings is one of the cities many large parks. More than a few acres, the park consists mainly of wooded meadows with a large pond in its center. A few monuments are scattered throughout the park, some along the trail that runs through the park along with benches for those who'd like to sit. Come have a picnic by the pond and enjoy the waterfowl or take a stroll along the trails with a friend. Enjoy the quiet sounds of the park and its inhabitants before venturing back into the city.

Declan had always preferred the city life, its being fast-paced and all, but it also wouldn't hurt to get away from it every once in a while. Somewhere near the Central London, he thought he found just the perfect place. With its serene atmosphere and springy air, it was surely the most fitting place for him as he listlessly awaited for the end of his break time.

Seated on a bench in this fine afternoon, the man in his thirties observed the stillness of his surroundings, absorbing what was before his eyes, subconsciously awaiting for his wristwatch to strike one o'clock sharp.

Skander wandered around, trying to find a nice place to just drop. His muscles were killing him after he'd decided to move all his office possessions from level seven, to level two, the muggle way. He'd figured that it was just a few boxes and so it couldn't be all that bad, little did he know...

Added to that the fact that he was trying to get used to a new position in a new department, well he was kinda stressed and just needed to relax. Which was why when he spotted a bench, holding only one other occupant, he dropped down and released a tired sigh.

Declan fondly watched the birds as they hovered around the place. He had looked around and he came to the immediate conclusion that he was alone, not counting the birds and other mundane creatures, of course. Well, it seemed he wasn't alone for long.

Cocking his head to one side, Declan gave the guy a nod, while his lips quirked into a rather small yet friendly smile. The young man seemed to come from his workplace just as well. For his job required of meeting a lot of people, well, not that he found it compulsory, he thought he could chat up the young man just a bit.

"You work for the ministry, pal?" he asked, eyes squinting a bit due to the blinding light of the afternoon sun.

"Yeah, I'm on level two. You?" Skander replied to the other man's question, tilting his head slightly to look at him. It was only polite after all. Up close Skander would guess that the man was only a few years older than himself, and that he probably did work for the ministry, he looked professional and as if he needed a break. A look many of the employees had on their faces these days due to how busy things had been.

"Level one. Ministry's office." Declan replied but this time, he didn't tilt his head to look at the young man but rather kept his gaze upon the trees from the other side of the pond. He could go on and on staring into empty space, especially when he had no one talk to, or with anyone but without anything to talk about.

With her lunch in hand, Jen headed out to her favorite spot in the park under a specific tree she always ended up sitting under. Sitting down on the grass she put her paper bag down in front of her and began to pull the contents out from it. The only thing she was missing was her coffee, but she had more than enough that day, and she'd end up getting more coffee after she got back to work anyway. Leaning back against the tree she began to unwrap her spinach and tomato sandwich (along with nearly every other vegetable Jen liked), watching the few people around her as they socialized.

Dacs decided to take a walk outside, in the park near the ministry. Of course its a non- magic zone since there were alot of muggles around. As she strolled in her black waist length trench coat, black blouse and black pants. It was her favourite thing to wear, black. Hands shoved deep in the pockets of the coat, she walked thinking about work. She saw a young woman sitting on the grass by herself and Dacs could see that she was different from muggles. There was a difference in her aura that made the difference to Dacs.

Walking over she to her, she said,"Hello." Stopping a little way off so as to not frighten her Dacs spoke calmly,"Do you work at the ministry?" She didn't want to mention the ministry of magic just like that

Mmm. It looked pretty outside. Something that Isobel really hadn't experianced much when she'd been abroad. So she had decided to take a little walk in the park. It would be good to have a look around before it either got too cold.....or she got too over loaded with work. Twiddling a strand of blonde hair around her finger the 32 year old wandered along a path, trying her hardest not to really stand out. She didn't think she did that mmuch because she really didn't know that many people, so she figured that most people weren't going to approach her. That suited her pretty well to be honest, she'd harassed enough when she got up to level two, so that hopefully she'd be able to have a nice relaxing walk out here....

Honestly, the guy had enough of getting lost in the ministry at the moment, which was why he miraculously found his way outside. Ministry life was much...much much more different then the life of a pastry chef. At least that job didn't involve an elevator that made his stomach churn every time he went on it.

Taking in a deep breath, Cyryl ran both hands through his hair before just standing there on the park's trail, glancing around. Well now, this place wasn't so bad. The weather was wonderful, scenery was beautiful, and it wasn't crowded. And the people who did happen to be walking along the path at the same time were...just as nice to look at. Silently clearing his throat, he continued along the path, glancing from place to place around here and there, to the blonde woman for a moment or so, and back to...that tree right there.

Parks were nice.

It had been proven, in three different ways, that Alyss Glass was no good at DIY. Nor was she any good at using magic to fix things. So let's do some simple math. Broken shower + unable to fix = Red-eyed Alyss. Fists balled tightly as she slipped out of her flat and into the chilled 8am morning streets of London, Alyss bit down on her bottom lip. It wasn't a good thing if she didn't get a shower in the morning, it meant she had to get coffee. And coffee meant good mood. Good moods weren't easy to stay in.

However irritated she may of been, Alyss' dark eyes fixed onto her local Starbucks and was soon leaving the place with a black coffee in her hand. She'd slept remarkably well considering the day she'd had beforehand. Centaur Liaison was harder than it had sounded, but still an awful lot of fun. And her bed had been snuggly and warm. It was just a big shame that she had to wake up to the crap world that she endured.

Crossing the road to the park as she shielded her eyes from the early morning sun, Alyss caught the sight of her favorite bench being unoccupied and grinned. At last. Something good. Making her way across - and picking up a paper from the vendor as she did so - Alyss dropped down onto the cool bench, opened the paper, and began to relax. If anyone dared to disturb her, she was going to eat them. Whole. With cherries. And wash them down with her coffee.

Jen by now had already focused her attention on her food. Food was one of her several weaknesses that were probably not very healthy for her. She had been, however, going organic with her foods. So that was a good thing, right? It wasn't until she was spoken to that Jen realized a woman was standing near her. She put her thoughts of food to the side for the moment.

Nodding her head a couple of times she cleared her throat, "Level 6." Jen said casually, her gut told her this woman was a witch, just by the way she held herself and spoke.

Out of the handful of times Bruno had been to London, this most certainly was the only time he had really enjoyed it. He had usually been on the run, doing whatever his father and family pleased. Right now though, father was not around and Bruno was a 30 year old MAN on his own living in this big and wonderful city. It felt nice, it really did. It was lonely however so....BRUNO WAS GOING TO FIND COMPANY.

He grinned a bit, eyes scanning people through his sunglasses. It had to be a girl he sat with, girls were easier to talk to and much FUNNER to talk to. Besides, girls flirted with him and that was always fun, right? His eyes kept scanning until he found her, he found THE lucky girl he was going to sit next to. The man couldn't help but smirk, starting to approach the girl who also looked lonely. Her only company was a book which in all honesty, was terrible company.

"HEY."Bruno said while wiggling both his eyebrows,"You looked lonely and I'm lonely to so you know..."He bit his lip, holding back a perfect little grin."I'd figure I'd come and talk to YOU."Lucky girl right there.

Rainbow grinned.

HE GRINNED AND GRINNED!

As an obvious positive influence to the Wizarding World, he made sure to let his smile and the sunshine from deep within him flourish into the environment, spreading peace and love to all wizards and creatures. Now after a day of work, he wanted to explore the surrounding area and came upon a park.

A city park. Of course, Rain simply adored parks because well, it was just a serene place to be in! He SNIIFFFFFEEEDDD the environment, inhaling Mother Nature's amazing scent and he surveyed the park, walking while making constant hand gestures to show his LOVE for nature! He stopped himself though, spotting something on the ground. Oh my!

It was a plant--IT LOOKED AS IF IT WAS UPROOTED AND THEN LEFT. FOR. DEAD. Did the devil's child do these horrendous deeds?! THIS WAS UNNACCEPTABLE.

He made a dramatic loud gasp, quickly saving the plant from its death and then gently placing it on the soil ground, taking out his wand as if unsheathing a sword, and muttered a spell. The plant soon started to animate itself, its roots magically going back into the ground and RAIN--SO PROUD OF HIMSELF--that he raised his arms in glory, screaming out the words, "LIIIIIIIIIVE PLANT LIIIIIIIIVE!"

Hmm was someone watching?

It had been rather quiet, which had been nice. Quiet and peaceful and almost empty. From where he lay on his back near the small pond, he had a good view of the clouds rolling through the sky and the canopy overhead rustling with the gentle breeze. While it was in the city, the very setting and atmosphere of the park allowed him to forget the buildings and the cars and the noise. Here he could sit, or in his current state lie, and think or not think. Here, despite Damien's teachings, he didn't feel like he needed his guard up as strongly. He felt safe.

Even while he wasn't as attentive as he should have been, it was rather hard to miss the man that entered the park. As he watched him, Sabel couldn't help but wonder if there was a smell he didn't like, or if it was every smell that he did like. Given the bright smile on his lips, he was going to assume the later. The man had an air of drama about him, something that was amplified ten fold as he resurrected a plant from its apparently untimely death along the path.

The whole display seemed worthy of a round of applause, and while giving applause to a complete stranger was not in his nature, this man just seemed so.....happy and deserving of it. So, he did just that and clapped. After all, it was the little things in life that mattered, wasn't it?

"Transportation,"she said taking two steps closer,"I'm Law Enforcement. The name's Dacs. You?" She still was being cautious but assessed it was safe to close the gap a bit. The young woman seemed nice. She looked at her lunch and realized that she was health conscious as it looked organic. This could read to a responsible characteristic in this ministry employee. Dacs was very good at assessing individuals by the mere items they have or what they wear. It was an MLE basic.

Erik grinned as he was carrying something in his hand. He stalked off toward the shadiest part of the park, which was situated near the pond.

He took the items out of the casket one by one, arranging the utensils, napkins and ware. Finally, after what seemed like an hour, he checked out his creation.

He hoped that Elisxa would love the presentation which he worked so hard for. Leaning on the big oak tree, Erik waited for Elisxa.

He then realized that his hair was sticking out in all places when he checked his reflection in the pond. Panicking, he ruffled his hair and finger combed it a little. Perfect. He wasn't vain like other guys, but Erik wanted to look extremely gorgeous for her. Hihi.

Um. What? Not looking up from her paper, Alyss tightened her grip on the side away from her unwanted visitor. They were easy to shake at this time in the morning. By the sound of the guy's voice, he'd probably been on the butterbeer all night and was now looking for someone to fall asleep on. Well... She wasn't about to be this guy's pillow. Crossing her legs whilst wondering how long she could hold the silence card for, Alyss eventually turned her head from where she'd been furiously staring at the black and white print and looked darkly at the ridiculous man.

"I'd rather you didn't." She replied bluntly, staring straight into the man's eyes. How could ANYONE be that happy/alert at this time in the morning, she had no idea, but if he was going to spread it all over her and try and "share-the-love", then he was sorely mistaken. Besides, her mother always told her not to talk to strangers, and this guy... Was strange. NO OTHER EXCUSE WAS NEEDED.

Also.. Did he say lonely? Oop. That hit a cord. "And I'm not lonely. I'm just alone. It's a big difference, mister." Ehehe. Mister. She hadn't used that phrase in ages. But it suited him. Or at least, it suited him in her eyes. Anyone who talked to her that brightly and that... Creepily, deserved to be called mister.

Noah was on break. Mhmmm. Yes, he was on break from working in the greenhouses, and where did he go during this lapse? To the plants and general nature-ness of the park. Honestly, sometimes the man spent more time with plants than he did with people. Not that he didn't enjoy company - on the contrary - he simply tired quickly of suffering fools, and believe him, there were a lot of fools in London.

He strolled off of the pathway just a little so that he could lean against one of the sturdy, old trees by the pond. He pushed his scuffy Timberlands roughly against the gravel beneath his feet, causing a bit of it to roll into the water and create a few ripples.

His stomach grumbled. Eh. He should've gotten a bite to eat beforehand.

After successfully saving a plant's life, Rain sniffed, almost tearful at the sight and the feel of how much Mother Nature was proud of him! HE FELT HER EMBRACE! He felt ever-y-thing. That was right. But he paused his scene when he heard something. What was that?

Was that the sound of a tree falling when no one was around to hear it?

No.

It sounded like the sound of a man clapping with one hand.

NO. TWO HANDS!

Rain was not only being praised by the beautiful Mother Nature, but also a living, human being! He felt so proud of himself, as he turned towards the applause in excitement, giving the man a thumbs up! YEAH! "Thank you! Thank you very much, young man!" Rain immediately bowed down and grinned happily, walking towards the man. "Did you see that? Did you see how I saved the poor plant's life?! I just couldn't resist but restore the beauty of this park, do you know what I mean, sir?!!"

"Alas, it was the POWER of Mother Nature that did everything. HER MAGICAL POWER MUST NEVER BE UNDERESTIMATED! You do love the power of Mother Nature, yes? You seem like a very young lad. Haven't got any in fights recently, have you?!" There was that scar on his face which led him... nope, assuming was rude and well, he didn't even know the man! "PEACE AND LOVE IS KEY TO EVERYTHING!"

He didn't regret clapping for the stranger, nor did he fear being pointed out for doing so. Instead, he sported a wide grin as he rolled to his feet with the man's approach. Drama, enthusiasm, passion....this man had all the positive emotions under the sun. Though he dared not think how he could be if made angry. Then again, it was a common saying that it was always the quiet ones and this man was anything but quiet.

Straightening the jacket, he couldn't help but give a slight bow back to the stranger before casting an appreciative glance to the re-established plant. "I did indeed, Sir. It was most heart warming and hopeful a scene."

Yes, drama. It was in the air. And there didn't seem to be any chance of it stopping any time soon. At least it was good, cheery drama.

"I do love Her power indeed, Sir." Sabel gave the man a respectful nod, though he couldn't quite keep the grin off his face. And ---- wait what? What was this about a fight?

Sabel blinked at the stranger in confusion. He could keep up to a degree, but now he was completely lost. "Uhm...yes...it is."

Adrian walked into the city park and looked around. Nope, Aleka wasn't there. She probably wasn't there yet. He hoped she would show up, he had asked her to. Hopefully she wasn;t mad at him. But, why would she be? He was just paranoid? He opened his hands a little and peeked at what was sitting in them, hiding from the world. Good, it was safe. He hoped Aleka would be there soon.

Aleka sure enough, saw the perfect Adrian sitting there. She loved him, no doubt about it! "Adrian!" she said with a shy smoky as she sat next to him, and looked up into that beautiful face. She simply smiled. She tried to put a lot of emotion into that smile, like how she'd long forgotten that incident, she didnt even remember why she'd been mad at him! She tried to tell him how she loved him, and how much he meant to her(A LOT!). "i have missed you to much." she said kinda quietly

Elisxa was bust texting as she walked through the busy streets of London. She didn't exactly know where she was going and did not exactly have a place in mind for her to go to at the moment. She just let her feet carry her, or in this case walk her to some part of London which was quiet and calm. As if reading her mind Elisxa stopped and looked up from her phone to see that she was no longer at Victoria Tower Gardens but some other city park which was a lot more shady and smelled like morning dew. Pocketing her BlackBerry and putting her hands into her coat pockets, she strolled slowly through the park sinking in all the peacefulness and tranquility of the place.

Just as she reached a shadier portion of the park, Elisxa noticed the form of a familiar young man whom she had just recently been with. Erik was looking into the pond, fixing his hair as he did so. Honestly, she found it neat enough and was wondering what he was doing here at the time like this. She should be asking herself the same question..

Walking over she lightly tapped Erik's shoulder before giving him a small kiss on the cheek. "Hey." she smiled.

Erik just finished ruffling his hair and stood straight when a familiar soothing voice came from behind with a soft, perfect kiss that sent him flying in cloud nine. He turned and smiled brightly at Elisxa. His girlfriend. And no one else's.

Giving his right side a quick glance, Erik saw that his set-up was still in perfect condition. "Elisxa, I'm sure you love surprises. And I reckon you'll love this! Close your eyes and I'll take you... if you trust me."

He held out his hand and stared into Elisxa's beautiful, twinkling blue eyes with a gorgeous smile of his.
