In southwest Manchester, there lies a large car dealership. Cars are parked all over the pavement, advertisements everywhere and of course, an over eager dealer.

Much like any normal car dealership, the owner of this lot is out to make money. But unlike other dealerships, these cars have been bewitched to fly, as taxi service to the world cup.

Covington E. Penney is the man behind this, and something has got to be done about it

Zoey walked into the car dealership and looked around. She sees some of the taxis and walks up to them and starts to look at them for any sort of obvious changes to it.

Another day, hopefully more sales. Covington walked out of his office and onto the main sales floor, dressed in his usual Muggle attire of a button-down shirt and slacks, somehow looking both casual yet businesslike. He was always careful, on the odd chance a Muggle decided to visit him, even though he generally preferred wizard customers. They were just more his type of people. Besides, they could appreciate some of his more . . . illustrious special features included with his merchandise. And so far, he'd been doing fairly good business. Hadn't had to deal with anything yet, at least. No questions or anything. And he was fairly certain he could talk his way out of anything anyway.

Glancing around at the merchandise, a smile crept across his features as he saw a woman over near the ones he'd set aside specifically for his latest venture, and walked over to her. Running a hand through his already somewhat messy hair, he let the smile stay as he spoke. "Hey there. Can I interest you in anything? A new car, a simple ride anywhere you'd like to go . . ." He remained vague unti lhe could judge as to what type of customer she might actually be, considering the one thing he knew from this venture is that he always had to be careful with his sales pitch. Not everyone wanted to be hit head-on with all the bells and whistles first off. But either way, he usually made his sale.

With a small pop, Blackstone apparated into Manchester, two blocks from the dealership so as not to alert the man. Walking to the lot, he noticed Zoe was already speaking to Covington, and Covington was... trying to sell her a car?

Blackstone quickened his stride towards them, intending to cut to the matter, but stopped when he noticed a very nice BMW. He had always wondered what driving would be like for muggles.

Zoey looked at the man who had just come down the stairs. She decided to see what she could get out of him. Time to put her feminine wilds to work. Zoey slowly stood up and looked at the man straight in the eyes. "I'm looking for a new car. Something light and fast, that will take me where I want to go quickly."Zoey said giving him a slight smile as she walked around the car gliding her hand over it. She bent down and looked into the the other side. She then stood up and flipped her hair out of her face. "See I'm going on a long trip coming up here soon. To a place where there is going to be a lot of people and I would love to miss the crowds. Do you think you can help me?" She said with a smile.

Blackstone finished looking at the car, and was about to approach Covington and Zoe when he stopped again. What was she doing? Blackstone stood back, leaning against a car. He watched the scene unfold, rather bemused. What was she trying to do?

Covington glanced away from the woman he had spoken to as he heard a tell-tale pop, informing him someone had Apparated into his lot, and nodded slightly at the man who had been striding toward him. As the new customer got distracted by a BMW, he decided that today was going to be a good day. At least, it seemed more likely he'd make a sale or two.

He turned back as soon as he heard the woman speak, giving her a bright grin as she tried to use her wiles on him. It always entertained him when people did that. "Well, miss, you're definitely in the right place," he said, "I only sell the fastest vehicles. Everyone is always pleased with the merchandise, and the special features that I make available." And the bait was set, even though it didn't seem she wanted a simple taxi. Skipping that whole part was just the cherry on top. Running his hand through his hair, spiking it even more, as she examined the car in front of her, he continued speaking. "So where exactly are you headed? A lot of people is one thing, but different terrain would influence what type of car you should think about. You wouldn't want a convertible sports car if you were headed to the woods, for example."

Zoey looked at the man. "Well, I was able to obtain tickets to the world cup. And you know all of those security measures the ministry to putting into effect and I really don't want to deal with that." Zoey said looking at the man."Something....that could get me around those perhaps?"

Blackstone stopped watching Zoe coax Covington, amusing though it was. He pulled out an extendable ear and put on some sunglasses. Oh, yes. Time for cool. Blackstone thought with a smile. He let the fleshy coloured string wriggle over to them so he could listen in at a distance. Blackstone stepped away. If he didn't think anyone was listening, Covington might talk.

Covington raised an eyebrow momentarily at the woman's thinly veiled statement, immediately feeling like he needed to play this as carefully as possible, since her location on hi slot, combined with the direction the conversation was going, raised his suspicions slightly. But in the same respect, he wasn't going to back down. If he did everything right, nobody would be able to hit him with anything that would stick.

Momentarily ignoring the man who hadn't moved any closer, he nodded at the woman. "The World Cup, huh? I may be able to get you there, given the right price. But consider that quite a few of those security measures are probably there for a reason, and not all of them would affect your arrival." First step in covering his tracks: Make it seem like he was on the Ministry's side. But if he set her down a little way away from the site for the Cup, she could still avoid the measures that would affect him and his endeavour.

Blast Blackstone thought. There was one charge Covington was getting out of. He took another step away, pretending to look at a black Mercedes. It was quite remarkable, Blackstone thought to himself. He had actually been disappointed that this guy weaseled around a regulation. Did he want him to be convicted? If he deserved it, yes... but many philosophical questions popped into Blackstone's mind. He loved thinking about such things.

"Oh price is not a matter." Zoey said to the man. "I am willing to pay whatever you deem your price. And if you are so worried about the security measures than what about getting around the crowds someway?"
Zoey looked around and saw Blackstone trying to play it cool and smiled. She then leaned forward to pretend to try to keep the conversation more private. "Do you think you have anything like that for me?"

Covington grinned as the woman said price wasn't going to be a problem, the faint thought that someone was trying to get something on him still going through his head even as he shoved it back in the face of a possible sale. "That makes things so much easier," he commented, acting like he was looking over the cars in that area of the lot as he took another cursory glance at the man who was hovering a distance away. He still hadn't moved any closer, although it seemed like he was disappointed about something. Covington could just tell, and it made him a few levels more suspicious.

"I never said I was worried about the security measures," he pointed out as the woman continued speaking. "You did. And there are ways you could arrive that wouldn't trigger any of those measures. For example, you could always stop the car at a location within walking distance of the Cup location, and heading in on foot would most likely be safe." Because he wasn't about to not try and sell something from his stock. He just needed to make sure his suspicions weren't warranted in the process. And as she leaned forward, he smiled again. "I always find whatever you need in my stock. Just say the word," he said, matching her tone of voice.

Covington was obviously being very careful about what he said. Blackstone continued to nonchalantly peruse the cars. There had to be a way to pull this sting.

And it was a sting. Blackstone smiled to himself. It was a pretty cool prospect. Upon entering the ministry Blackstone didn't think he'd be doing this kind of stuff. And after only six months, too.

He shook himself back to the present. There had to be a way to actually get something on Covington. Standing around and listening to him talk wasn't doing much good.

He could try legilimency, but Blackstone wasn't too good at it. Plus, Covington was probably prepared for it. Veratiserum? Perhaps, but going through the paperwork back at the ministry would be quite a hassle. Ministry protocols always made this kind of thing hard.

Blackstone wondered if he could find anything in the office. He tentatively approached Covington and Zoe, thinking of a way he could get inside. "Excuse me, sir" he addressed Covington. "Do you have a loo I could borrow?"

Zoey looked at Blackstone as he approached. She remained unmoved by his presence to make it seem as though she didn't know him. When he asked for the loo, Zoey sense that he wanted to look for something and he needed to time. Must stall time she said to herself.
"Yes walking would be fine but that really doesn't solve the problem of the traffic." Zoey said taking a pause to think. If she was going to get him to admit to something she may have to set stronger bait. "You know something fast, that could get me around the crowds."

Covington wasn't stupid. He knew that this woman was trying to get him to say something about what he actually did, and he had his suspicions she knew the man who was still hovering nearby. Which were tipped off by her look at the man as he finally decided to do something. Putting a pleasant smile on his face, he turned as the man spoke. Can't reveal I don't trust them, he thought, before speaking. "No need to call me sir. Mr. Penney's fine, or even Covington. Being called sir makes me feel old," he said, a hint of a feigned laugh in his voice. Besides, maybe he still could manage to sell something. "The loo? Of course. Inside, second door on the left." As usual, he'd locked his office, so even if he'd had anything incriminating in there, it should be safe.

Turning back to the woman again after the man had walked off, he grinned genially. "There's going to be traffic no matter how you try to get there. It's the Quidditch world cup. Everyone wants to be there," he pointed out with a laugh. "What do you want to do, float over everyone's heads? Not gonna happen," he continued, still with the joking tone in his voice. In fact, he actually could fly her in, but even he couldn't land in the stadium or anything. And then she'd continued speaking, and his grin came back. "Sweetheart, anything you get from me is going to be fast. It's what I'm known for."

"Hey floating is perfectly fine with me." Zoey said to the man.
